Hi. I’ve just bought this alarm for my wolf warrior X. My question to anyone that has fitted this alarm to a warrior x (base model)…. Is there enough room for the black arm box inside the scooter’s battery compartment and is the alarm still loud enough when placed inside the deck? Or just it be mounted externally? Thank you
I don't own a Wolf Warrior X (I own a Kaabo Mantis Elite with all Wolf Warrior X running gear though) but I'd say no Bro. Once you replace the battery cover & put the tape back on, there wouldn't be much sound escaping from there & if there was, that would inevitably mean water ingress. If you can, I'd install it inside the controller box (if it's possible but I know space is at a premium with these scoots...) but if not, yeah... I'd go ahead & mount it externally, perhaps in between the goose neck, where the stem meets the body. It sounds super loud in this video because it's out in the open but if you were to install it inside the deck, the dB would be reduced significantly! I plan on buying one of these in the New Year for my Mantis & I plan on installing the alarm exactly where I suggested to you. If that happens before you buy one, I'll update you on my progress. Ive tried this 3 pin but it only alarm sounds, I realized my scooter has 5 pin female wire for alarming, its more secure automatic switching ON on the LCD, and when alarming it does lock the rear motor you cant move the scooter.

@@philthefinesse8766 personally, I'd attempt to install it inside the neck; so it's situated just above the controller. I have that boxed off anyway (for waterproofing purposes) but it is only very thin plastic that I've used (around 0.8mm thick) so I believe it _SHOULD_ work fine. I haven't purchased it yet but I fully intend to do so in the New Year, once I get paid for all those Public Holidays over Christmas/New Year... lol.
