Yup, I thought the trails would be totally dry but didnt anticipate the frost. Partly why there are so many cuts at the beginning of the video, I was clearing mud
Ledgeview is one of my fave places to ride. Grampas eyebrowsl, noodley appendage, paper trail or the ones by the cliffs its all good stuff. The climbing trails are great too
Agreed on all those. I find it hard to judge the conditions though, half the times I've gone it has been all time, the other half its super muddy/overgrown with nettles/leaves everywhere. All the deciduous make it a pretty unique spot
@MINIMALmtb I think the best time to go is when it's been dry for a bit and early spring before the stinging nettles grow back. The ground there is like clay so when it's wet it's slippery as heck lol
im on my way through the chilliwack this coming week and have time for a ride, should I go to Vetter or Ledge View? I've heard so many great things about vetter but I'm just a bit torn
Looks like you were getting a face full of mud half of the time. Fun looking trail.

Haven't made it to Ledgeview yet. On the misery scale, is the pedal up worse or better than Eagle ? :)
I haven’t ridden ledgeview either, but nothing can be worse than climbing eagle 🤣
@@CoastTimesMTB @bengordon2330 haha not to worry, it's significantly easier.
What bike are you riding? I'm looking to getting back into it and used to go down Ledgeview
Norco Optic. Something similar would be perfect for Ledgeview
@@MINIMALmtb Thanks!
