Thanks for sharing! Looks like a ton of fun! I'm just getting into gravel riding and have been trying to find rides in my area (Claremont, Ontario, etc.). Any recommendations on how you find good trails in the area? Or any favorites you can recommend?
Me alegra mucho que estén disfrutando los videos. Les deseo mucha suerte con el gravel, pásensela bien y exploren lo más que puedan! Esto de la bici sí que es pura diversion!!
Great camera work and the audio was awesome too! I was on the wait list for this ride so I signed up for for a DC ride in Solvang instead….then I received a email that I advanced off the wait list but I had to decline 😢 cause I made plans but then I watched this Vid and now I know I am missing out 😭. But now I plan to do this ride the following weekend so it’s all good 😁. PS. Great job you two on your LATR #2 results.

@life's a gem Those rides from Monroe to Baldy Village and back helped me out a lot, met your husband Joe after the ride introduced myself told him I watch your channel👍bought a new Revolt so ready for more!
@@Planetone. I heard Monroe is not ridable atm, I haven’t done it in a while. Glad to hear that gravel grinder helped you prepare for the event. I wish I would’ve been there. From what Joe told me, it sounded like it was a lot of fun. Glad you got to chat it up with him. Congrats on your revolt and have fun out there.
Great video you guys! Will be using this route soon. I am new to gravel riding, and was curious what kind of tires you are using for a route like this?
Thank you for your kind words! We're glad you enjoyed the video and that you'll be using this route soon for your gravel riding adventure. In this video I'm using the Gravel king SK size 38. Joe has the Pirelli Gravel H size 40. Enjoy your gravel riding journey, and stay safe out there! 🚴🌟 Let us know what you end up getting!!
That's a great question! While mountain bikes are indeed well-suited for rugged terrain, the choice for riding the gravel instead is that we don't own mountain bikes :( While a mountain bike might offer advantages in terms of suspension and control, a gravel bike can still handle many rough terrains effectively and like you mentioned it provides a faster and more efficient riding experience on smoother surfaces. We also did quite a lot of pavement on this route so the gravel bike came in clutch!
You can't really do SLO in just two days. There is so much more, so many more exciting, challenging, relaxing, cheese and bottle of wine rides that 48 hours just can't accomplish. come back, make some gravely pals and learn how SLO is a wonderland to what the national park has to offer! Come Back.
You started in Redlands which is a beautiful city but that’s not where the trails you were riding, that’s technically highland if you really look it up. None the less still fun. But not Redlands, lived here since 04
Looks like you passed by my street/house in East Highland! 😁👍
WOw! You live in a great area! Thanks for watching!
I can't believe how green it is - and snow capped mountains!

I have a 2009 Honda Element SC that I just love. Great vehicle for cycling trips.

🚴♀️✨✨ the camera work is amazing.
Much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Beautiful drone footage. And and even more beautiful couple.
Thanks! We love you 💕
Great trails! Will have to plan a ride in Redlands.
It is beautiful there! We would love to go back and explore some more!
If you come on a clear day, you will see the "Big R" on the mountain. You were right below it. You can see it from the University.
Awesome, I would love to go back!
Redlands is my hometown (dont reside there anymore) always love seeing it~~such a beautiful town.....and you have a new subscriber~~

Trails looked so green! Awesome ride!
It was a beautiful day! Thanks for watching :)
Very nice!
Appreciate it!
You did a great job showing off my hood
Your hood is legit!!

Great video! Interested to know you’d split that ride up into two 30-ish mile sections for more of a half-day experience.
That would be nice but since we drove there to ride, it makes more sense to just to a big one to compensate for the driving.
Scenic 😍😍
It's so beautiful there!
Me encantan tus vídeos, por favor sigue haciendo más contenido!
Muchísimas gracias for el apoyo! Le vamos a echar las ganas a estos videos :)
Strada you can ride 99% of it. LATR likes to puts you on trails that require your feet to do the work. Nice video!
They are both great in their own way! Thanks for watching :)
amazing!!
Thanks!
Hi! What Oakleys are you wearing on your ride, Gemma? :)
These are the Oakley Sutro

Strada Rosa will be my first ever event next week, hoping for no rain? Let's see how it goes, a lot of trais out there!
Hey, thanks for watching our video! How did the Strada Rosa go for you?

@@lifesagem I'll see mañana headed up that way to try out the new bike.
Were you guys riding w a drone or a crew? Loved the video btw! Makes me want to ride that route.
We had a drone! Wished we had a crew, it would make things a lot easier. Thanks for watching!!

Why not a mountain bike with all the rugged terrain ? Is it the speed folks need because front shocks wide bars work well in these places

where is the trail located?
We rode all over the place. Check the strava link in the description for specifics :) Thanks for watching!
Do you have a route you can share?

You're right! Two days in SLO are just a glimpse of the wonders it has to offer. There's so much more to explore, I'll definitely plan to come back!

You can tell where you are at by the location of the trail to where the mountain an sun is
