The Entire World War 2 WW2 US Army with Sherman Tanks and World War 2 Soldiers are going VS the Entire Medieval Army with knights, archers, and catapults. This was made using the Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2 or UEBS 2.

I like your timelapses, but I wish you'd pull the camera a bit further away for them, give us a better idea of the big picture of the battle.

I don't know why we don't just buy the game and do it all ourselves the way it should be done. He couldn't even be bothered to get the number of american WW2 soldiers right, so that title was clickbait. There were way more soldiers in reality. We put up with a lot because of sheer laziness.

Wasn't even the catapults that won the battle, it was the archers. Once they showed up, the WW2 soldiers had no chance.
It was the dead body piles that doomed the ww2 side.
It was awesome at 10:44 when you scrolled over to find that one contingent of WWII soldiers just raining fire down a hill into an endless horde, so badass. Told a story, because once that side was flanked the rest of the WWII soldiers stood no chance.
So this is literally GATE, but the soldiers is literally facing the entire population.
You know, the soldiers would have won if they got Rory Mercury in the team. The medieval soldier wouldn’t have stand a chance at all!

It was JSDF propaganda, but that doesn't stop it from being awesome. Also hard for any military, even a modern one, to fight a literal immortal. Also I feel this simulator doesn't have correct accuracy for firearms. Way too many stray shots.
Edit: Also it doesn't account for real world strategy. The WWII US military wouldn't put their guys out in the wind, they would use the hills, and increase the volume of concurrent fire. Think how the Germans held Normandy, except the invaders don't have any guns. Absolute bloodbath.

the WW2 soldiers are at a massive disadvantage because they need a straight line of sight to shoot. but the archers can shoot at an angle.
It would be cool to add planes to eubs (1 or 2)
I'd love to see a squad of Sopwith Camels flying over a medieval battlefield, or even X-Wings
Not only should the Shermans be able to roll through the hordes, they should also be given functional hull MGs. I can't see if the co-axial is modeled, but it it is, they should have that as well.
I hope to see a better assortment of units in the future. Its solid for a tech demo right now, but it really is piddly for the "Ultimate" Epic Battle Simulator.
I'd love to see the same battle with a "Friendly Fire Damage On" feature, I don't think it would last long

See, this is what GATE should have been! Medieval army still takes monstrous casualties but maybe a stray trebuchet projectile ignites a fuel tank or something and some knights get within stabbing distance! Very few modern soldiers would die instantly but their wounds would get badly infected as they were intended to! Medieval weapons weren’t very lethal but caused a lot of gore, modern weapons are low on gore but cause enormous casualties in short amounts of time!
The slow dispersed deploy on this terrain doomed the WW2 team.
Even with the technological advantage the ww2 soldiers had, the numbers still overwhelmed them. Better tactical maneuvers might have saved them.
Honestly none of the medieval weaponry should even scratch the tanks. The tanks should be absolutely immune to all their attacks. Once again you put too many forces on one side. I had 0 doubts the medieval army winning. You commented earlier in the fight how % wise both sides suffered about the same losses and said either side could win when that wasn't true at all. When a smaller force is facing a larger force if they are suffering equal losses % wise it's always bad for the smaller force. Once we saw that it was absolute doom for the WW2 army.
Yes, but the tanks should have run out of ammo. The American tanks carried between 83 to 87 rounds depending on calibre.

@@Darth1Marik They won't run over enough. Most will be able to avoid the tanks till the tanks run out of fuel.
@@thrillereighties8241 Since when can knights and other medieval soldiers wearing armor that weighs about 60 to 80 pounds depending if its full plate or not can outrun a Sherman tank that has a max speed of 29mph(46kmph)? Sorry dude doesn't seem likely at all. If they were on horseback maybe but foot soldiers are going to be tread pancakes
@@Darth1Marik You have a valid point but at that point in the battle, the US soldiers and tanks will be without ammo. The medieval soldiers can just drop their heavy armour, avoid the tanks and finish the remaining soldiers with their swords. The US has actually done war exercises where a technologically advanced army takes on forces like China which are lesser equipped but are overwhelming in numbers. Numbers always win.

I love how uebs 2 added the blood. It adds a super gritty semi realistic look and it adds to the scale of battles.

suggestion: john wick and Nicola tesla leading 2 separate squads in a forest on free move with the squads havinv around a couple thousand elite us soldiers (3x stats of something similar) and 10 or so tanks each. they are surrounded by small groups of zombies on all sides. some groups have not zombies but instead giant zombies (trolls) and after the destruction of their undead army Germans attack and backup comes in from the Americans can the elite squad go through the various attacks until backup arrives?

edit: maybe it would be simpler without the second part of the battle with the backup hopefully though you see this daley and you can pull it off

What if they had a setting that made them only fire at and pursue units to run over them?
Something people need to remember: midevil catapults did oil on fire shots. That burning oil will seep in the turret of the tank and cause ammunition to fire off. The tanks would start cooking...

Seems like the WW2 AI caused them to lose. They were way too aggressive at the beginning with their push forward when all they really had to do is camp on the high ground with the Sherman's providing cover.

in a real battle, the medieval army will adapt guerilla tactics, investigate, get terrified and shit their pants and finally either retreat or surrender.
I'm addicted to your videos. Any chance you could do one where you put more strategy into the ballista placement ? It's kind of disappointing when they just smash into a wall of machine gun fire. I feel like you could use the terrain more so that each team's placements are at an advantage.
I challenge thee to set up something epic that ends up in somewhat of a draw or a very very very close call. As in BOTH teams / armies getting extremely decimated.

One million archers mean ww2 loses this battle. That's way too many archers for the ww2 troops to overcome. The medieval army had plenty of meat shields to throw at them until the archers came into play and once that happened, the battle was over and wasn't even close.
Obviously the tanks can do far more damage by just driving through the enemy lines then they can from their entire arsenal of cannon shells!

You commentary is real legit and good vibe.
The US Army should have been dug in fox holes and and planted minefields. The tanks should have had machine guns, and the ability to move, redeploy, and reinforce positions. Slow moving catapults should have been easy pickings for Sherman Tanks.
Please do some more battles with heroes like Chuck Norris and Action Man. Those are my personal favourites👍

Damn, them boys might've won the battle, but it was not a victory with those losses.
You forgot the support units in this battle, where is the artillery, mortars, they are part of WW2 army makeup, also they had close air support as part their support units.
A massive battle between Jedi and Sith, no Blasters or anything Just Lightsabers.

Like you said, maybe 50k more and they would have won. Or, if those bodies didn't pile up so much, they would have won. Those piles blocked so much of their fire, and they also allowed the archers to fire on them without being shot (because they arc the arrows up in the air.)

where are the B-17's? Also, It should be possible to prioritize the tanks to fire on the catapults first. Again they could move as groups of 3 to 5 to be able to concentrate shots in different areas as needed.

Can you add some artillery pieces to the WW2 side next time. That can help even the odds a bit
do this again but with 75K more WW2 troops and another 125 shermans and then take away 50k catapults

Why do I like this
Considering how many of these battles you’ve done now you still really struggle to judge who’s going to win. Practically all your subscribers knew the Medieval army would win, 100k US soldiers was never going to be enough, 200k would of made an interesting battle.
Otherwise I enjoy these videos a lot but you need to make the battles a little more even.
