LOL@ interior Assembly. Ooopsie! Awesome vid Bill, and it's cool to see Pat having a little fun. One thing I notice with a lot of builds, especially where mounting the intake is, that a lot of people fail to mention that when using Permatex black sealant on the china rails in lieu of gaskets, is to let the sealant "skin up" for approx. 20 minutes before slapping intakes on. I've done it this way for 20+ yrs, and never had a leak. I watched closely in this vid, and it looked as though you did just that! Nice! So many people have laid the bead of sealant on, only to slam the intake on 2-3 minutes later and encounter leaks likely almost immediately/down the road, unfortunately. I know time is of the essence when editing, but should be mentioned more to help out some peeps. Again great vid! Cheers!
I didnt hear anything about using the ARP oil pump shaft with a TFI distributor. you either have to cut down the shaft slightly or cut down the bottom of the distributor to make it work together
i wonder if the Ford cast aluminum valve cover would have worked. they are nice looking for an OEM valve cover and i always look for them when i build a Windsor engine. when i did my fuel lines, i ran them somewhat in the factory way. i vane from the fender to the front of the fuel rail with a 180 AN fitting. aluminum tube and AN tube nuts in the rear of the fuel rails. then the return line under the fuel rail back to the fender. that way you have plenty of room for distributor stabbing and timing...💪

Looking good...Nice high quality "Project55" Stickers with blue teal and black graphics for the valve covers would really set off the bay.
Thats a good idea!

Rolex for car building? 😳 Its nice
I wish! lol It's Seiko Prospex
Great video. Did you ever get the car on a dyno?
Yes we changed the mass air meter and a few other small things and made 430rwhp.
@@cjponyparts Awesome! Great numbers.
Why didn't you pump up the oil pressure to make sure your rockers all oiled?
Dose the lifter oil hole go a curtain direction?
That pen your lifters and arms
When did you sneak the cam in? I must have dozed off.
Says its high, pulls it up even more... logic
The play doh was high......
Dude the clearance was too high, thought that was obvious
Love those valve covers, super clean. Nice build man
Also are those 42# injectors? Been a while, forget the colors lol
Thank you and yes 42s
RocknRoll
What size injectors did y'all go with?
42# Ford Injectors, should be plenty for now
How much power it make
do they not sell a 1 piece oil pan gasket for the Fords?
yes they do
@@86hyperstang hmmm - I wonder why they didn't go with a 1 piece then? They aren't that much more expensive than a multi one.
Ford provided the gasket kit so we used what they sent us.
CJ Pony Parts ah that makes more sense. See y’all at Mustang Week!
Yup, would've been better they're under $30 too well worth it cause they're steel core silicon and reusable
