I’ve been selling on Mercari for over a year now and you’re totally right, the shipping is probably the only annoying part. I wish they would add usps priority packages too. Everything else is easy to use and much easier and faster than poshmark and eBay.
People need to stop giving Mercari a bad rap its a great platform just like all the other big names.

We been selling on Mercari almost a year now. We cross list everything too. Video games and electronics sell fast and usually for more money than eBay for us.

Also, it’s important to note that Mercari does not side with sellers. I got scammed by a buyer as they returned a different item than I sold and said I had sent that one. I had proof in video and photos and Mercari did not try to get my side of the story, they just immediately approved the return and completely ignored my consumer rights. HORRIBLE AND SAD EXPERIENCE. Please stay away from this platform or you will pay dearly sooner or later
I think the success in Macari is that it's a peer to peer and not big corporate company's selling! At least not yet! E-Bay started the same way until we got a cheaper price from China that sells all of the knockoffs at a fraction of the cost with free shipping! 🙄
Do you stick to one shipping provider ? Or do you switch it up? Im stuck on USPS knowing that I have options..... ( Ebay / Mercari)
on Mercari I will switch it up. what ever is the cheapest.

I just signed up for List perfectly and I'm in the process of cross posting. How have your sales been on Mercari through out the year. Did sales slow down after you finished all of the crossposting?
Ebay actually took over and i was selling stuff on ebay fast and forgetting to delete on Mercari - so i will start cross posting again for 4th quarter
I have been on mercari for 3 years and have hardly sold anything . I might sell something every few months . I have followed all tips and tricks , etc. I have had more luck on FB marketplace .

Today's "To Do" list>>>>give Mercari another try. I love the ease of listing over there and the profit calculator built into each listing so I know at a glance how I'll do. Those 2 things alone beat eBay in my book any day. Yep...I'm going to refocus in Mercari's direction :)
Yea the profit calculator is super nice. You know exactly how much you made. With ebay still kinda guessing lol. And ease of listing is also true.

I heard that free shipping helps sales go faster. So I offer free shipping, but the shipping price is included in the table or furniture price. That way, I still rank.

I hope you keep doing the Mercari what sold! I love Mercari! I do agree about the free priority boxes since often times it’s cheaper to ship via FedEx or UPS if the item weighs enough to ship priority, but they’ve just added FedEx SmartPost so maybe they’ll expand even more! Good luck with your future sales too!
Yea thats the only draw back for me which isnt a big draw back at all. So definitely happy so and I will do more videos for sure. I usually wait until I have 20 items that sold on the platform. Thanks again for watching!

I bought a tablet from a seller on Mercari. They shipped a first class package that was supposedly 4 oz, actually it weighed 1lb 3oz. They shipped the item on their own, didn't use Mercari's label. Talk about cheating😐

Just getting into Mercari. Is it still good for you? I am wanting to cross post some of my eBay items, but I am afraid I will sell an item on both platforms. Is that ever an issue? Or is it very unlikely? Just wondering if there's something I need to watch out for.
We have pulled back from mercari alot - but I know people that do very well

If you sell the golf clubs on Mercari, how will you ship them without using the trifold boxes from USPS? Buy your own, I assume..
Yes or I pick usps as my option of shipping.
As far as finding boxes, I hit up my local dollar stores and talk to the manager and they are usually very friendly and give me a bunch of boxes for free

Great sales on Mercari... I have Mercari but I stopped using it cause was to slow, still have things there but nothing.. I might use List perfectly, which one you have, simple, business or Pro?
I have the business one. 49 a month. It does pretty good. I can cross list a product in about 45 secs to a minute.

I only sell on marcari. Been selling a little over a year and have sold almost 400 items. Marcari sells way faster everytime. My wife does ebay and i do marcari and ebay just aint selling for us

What is the best way to do shipping? Free or using their shipping?
I do calculated shipping so buyer pays and I use it through mercari

@@kylehenley5024 plenty people do free shipping. I don't. Buyer always pays. If you do free shipping make sure you up your price to handle the shipping cost.
