- In this mini "Geek" guide we look at the various rear bumpers that can be fitted to the Range Rover L494 from 2014. We look at the standard bumper / the "dynamic" rear bumper / the 2015 SVR / the 2018 facelift bumper and finally the 2019 Range Rover Sport SVR back bumper. We also look at the exhausts fitted to each model.
Can someone please tell me on which website I can purchase these bumpers? Because I am planning to buy the 2016 model :).
Hi, you’ve mentioned about mud flaps, are the 2014-2017 svr mud flaps the same on all models?

What website do you suggest where I can get these bumpers from like to do a facelift on my truck to?
The extra parking sensors are used in park assist but, they also function as side distance warning for reversing into narrow entrances.
Peugeot fit them to all models whether they have park assist or not and there are also front side sensors, and I can tell you they are handy for narrow gates.

Hi. My 2014 Range Rover sport has been rear ended. I might as well change the rear bumper to the newer version. Do you sell this item as shown in your bumper comparison video. It’s not an svr so I only require the standard 2018 bumper with the fake exhaust tips. Cheers
Yes a lot of people do this - as they are all interchangeable.

The six parking sensors you reface to might be for a self parking camera sensor

Hey! great video as usual! do you have an diffuser style part for the facelift bumper or only the pre facelift? I have a 2016, but have a 2020 bumper coming soon and would like to upgrade the diffuser to the more aggressive looking one but I can only see the pre facelift one on your site. thanks!

Hi nice video as usual I see of course you are moving more towards the new Land Rovers bumpers and other bits, just a question if I may can you get for a Discovery 3 Land Rover part number LR007554 or maybe reproduce a few kits I think it will be a good seller. It's a good looking kit it would be a nice kit to buy next to buying a whole new bumper.For the Disco lovers.

Yes i think this will be a popular upgrade... much more subtle that the SVR.... the SVR may look like you are trying too hard !
Hi Guys, do you have any plans of fitting the facelift front bumper without changing the lights/wings. From what I can understand this can be done with some minor modifications. Would be good if an aftermarket replica was available aswell
Not sure if I missed it, but there is also the 2.0 rear bumper (single side exhaust) although I doubt anyone wants to upgrade to that!

The extra sensors on the sides are present on any RR Sport with the autonomous parking feature. There are extra 2 side sensors on the front bumper as well if this feature is installed.
I would like to upgrade my rear bumper on my 2015 Range Rover Sport Autobiography to the 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR. What parts do I need? The bumper cover, both of the rebars, and the exhaust tips? Or do I not need the rebars and can re-use the ones from my 2015?

Basically you just need the bumper and exhausts but the parking sensors may be different size

What did you end up doing? It looks like in the video the 2018 rear openings are larger. Not sure if the tips are larger though. Only one way to find out, buy the tips!

Is the side sensor for the automatic parking ? So it can measure that a space is long enough to parallel park?
Hi - thats what i had originally assumed but i am not sure. It may be for self parking and other things too. My car seems to have a wiring loom for 6 sensors but does not have self park. I need to investigate further.

So all bumbers are optional with the trailerhook base?
Yes you can fit the trailer hook with any of the bumpers.
That extra parking sensor is for park assist as Steven Moran said but you ill only find it on a car that has park assist plus which does the parallel park and perpendicular park the rear sensor is for the perp function only there is another sensor on the front side wheel arch that that scans at 90 degrees to the car to find a suitable sized space
I think there is also some warning system when you reverse onto a road that uses these sensors.
@@L663 I have reverse traffic detection gizmo on an autobiography sport but it doesn't have those sensors on rear sides, its a dynamic so has the scoop vent things but just the normal 4 sensors along the the rear, I tried to enable perpendicular park using the gap iid tool to try it out but got a sensor missing fault which I think is those sensors on the sides

Is the extra sensor hole that you are referring too actually in fact a camera lens hole design ed for possible 360 degrees view?
Visual Display Systems nah, I have the 360 plan view on mine, it’s just another sensor.
