Football is worked in a continuous round.
Final stitch count for each round is in parentheses
1. with brown 6SC into MC (6)
2. 1INC 6x (12)
3. 1SC in each stitch (12)
4. (change to white)*1SC + 1INC (repeat 6x) (18)
5. 1SC in each stitch (18)
6. (change to brown) *1SC 2x + 1INC (repeat from *6x) (24)
7-13. 1SC in each stitch (24)
14. *1SC 2x + 1dec (repeat from * 6x) (18)

I would like to see the back of the football when changing colors because i have i long string going up the back what am I doing wrong?

Hi! This is a very simple fix! When you change colors make sure that the yarn you are not using is pushed away from you so that it rests like it is in the middle of the football. That way the string you are talking about that is on the outside will now be hidden on the inside. xoxo

I really Love crocheting the football but the top always gets distorted 😭😭😭😭😭 so when I finish the top is flat ....

Oh no! I have no idea why that is happening. Maybe try adding 2-3 more single crochets at the very end to make it come to a point more and make sure to add a little bit of polyfil right before you close up the top.
