    I wanted to thank you so much as i received my mock grade and got a 9 which makes me feel elated as i worked so hard. Late nights and months working on your videos and continuously going through them constantly. I started with a grade 3 in the beginning of year 11 but now i got the highest in my school. Thank you so much!

      Thanks for the comment. Receiving feedback like yours makes all the hard work that I put into freesciencelessons worthwhile. And remember that you earned that 9 by all the hard work that you did. My videos just gave you the help that you needed.

      Its amazing how someone can explain a topic within few minutes and every time i don't understand it i would watch the videos again and again. At the beginning of year 11, my teachers would tell me i wouldn't pass science and that motivated me to do better therefore i'm so thankful. And i will work harder to receive the best grade i possibly can achieve.

    Hi Sir, How do you know if its 1-2 or more than 2 focal lengths away from the lense?

    • @Freesciencelessons
      @Freesciencelessons  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You just need to look at the position of the object on the ray diagram. In fact, as long as you follow the rules for constructing ray diagrams, the position is not important.

    I dont understand how the image is magnified when it’s between 1-2 focal lenghts from the lens because the two lines meet way below the normal or whatever the surface thing is called?

    Say for example at 1:10 when you've drawn light waves inside the lens and the light waves have bent towards the normal, Is the angle the line's drawn at random or is there a correlation between the angle of incidence and the angle at which light deflects from the normal?

    what makes the image inverted? is it because the focal point is on the other side of the principal axis?

    may I ask please, so is an image always real if it doesn't form on the object side and the image will be virtual if it forms on the object side?
    Thanks🙏

    How do I know if the object is magnified or Inverted?

    • @خلصذيب
      @خلصذيب ปีที่แล้ว

      With a magnified image, the "image" arrow will be drawn bigger than the "object" arrow. If it is a diminished image, the "image" arrow will be drawn smaller than the "object" arrow.

    Hi sir thank you so much for all the videos, I was wondering how the convex lens works when a virtual image is produced as that's part of Edexcel gcse, is it the same concept as the diverging lens?

    • @Freesciencelessons
      @Freesciencelessons  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. Please accept my apologies for the very late reply. When a virtual image is produced by a convex lens then this is a magnifying glass. You can find a video on that on my channel.

  • @TheCaptainH
    @TheCaptainH 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What about a ray diagram for an object nearer than F, do we not need to know that? As I do Edexcel triple science it may not be the same exam board you are teaching.
