I'm here because you give me insight on my daughter's future. She has been on chronic steroids since diagnosed at 2 years old in 2016. She also is doing rituximab infusions 2x a year because the steroids alone can't maintain remission. This was after getting her off tacrolimus as the 2nd med. She loves knowing there is a young adult who understands her fully. Steroids make her super sensitive and emotional rather than angry or have tantrums. Her sleep is a huge challenge as well.

I'm here because I have been on a low dose of Prednisolone (5 mg) for several years now and on this dose I've really only noticed positive effects (Prednisolone is what keeps me going, it's like fuel to me), so I was curious about the side effects you have experienced. I have had some mild mood swings, but I doubt they are caused by the Prednisolone - there are simply so much stuff going on in my life right now, and I'm not diagnosed yet, so I'm struggling with that as well.

You can get rid of the moon face by doing water fasting that's what I did for 5 days. I have your same condition and been stuck in the loop of high dose/low dose of prednisolone for about 23 years

I was put on 3 grams of Pred in hospital for like 2 days in June and they're still tapering it off. I'm honestly really struggling with moon face and everything it's horrific. I'm on 20mg now but my Moon face and insomnia are still so bad.Don't finish it until feb :(

Wow I might finish in Feb too!!! We’re in this together. I have moon face too. But if my symptoms get worse I have to keep it at where it’s at.
