The wife and I have lived in Philippines for the last five years. Let me say that if you plan on living here you need finances coming in regularly from some source. It’s difficult for foreigners to find jobs here. Even harder if you plan to live in province. So please plan well. We live here on our retirement pension. We came after working for 43 years in the USA.. the cost of living here is way cheaper than USA. So glad we worked to have money first before coming here. I would not want to be a broke foreigner living here.
Living outside manila is a lot cheaper, imagine $1500 /mo pension is more than enough plus your personal savings considering your average lifestyle and your age,, healthcare is the only negative side...make sure save some $ ....in case you need to fly back home for health needs..

Don't feel bad, I was very established in real estate, owned my own brokerage for several years, and then the recession ended a good run. I retired in 2012, and the wife and I moved to the Philippines and built our home and a new life in retirement. We have since relocated to Guam and now share time in both places (when we are allowed to travel). Stay safe!
I've been in the US for more than 26 yrs and it's going downhill. The competition and the lack of respect toward other common people due to political reasons are outstanding. It's sad that some people lost respect for each other. In the Philippines, people are friendly and very helpful. In the US, I've always felt all by myself. I have to do everything all by myself. It's tough to get a little help or ask for a small favor from a friend or a family member. It's different in the Philippines. That's why it's overpopulated there because so many people want to stay in the Philippines.
hahaha...Philippines is the only place on earth, where you can do anything you want as long as you follow & abide the rules..meaning to say, even in other countries, you must do what the government wants, and that's the rules.
i had seen b4 ur other post, and i learned there that the wife was a believer of JESUS CHRIST., as what you'd shared in this post, i do believe also that wherever you are, as you are trusting GOD, HE will bless you., GOD continually bless this family (i'm your brother in CHRIST).
Thank you for sharing your life experiences living in the US and deciding to move back to the Philippines. I'd been toying the idea of moving back to the Philippines, too. I'm still in the US now. And you just inspired me. I also like what you shared about success. That is so true. We define our purpose and meaning of success. All I can say to you is, never give up! We all just have to keep moving. Again, thank you. And good luck to both of you!

Praise the Lord Eric & Anna for sharing you lives’ testimony it’ made inspiration to your viewers/subscribers. Proverbs 3:5-6, said, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely in your own insight, in all your ways acknowledge Him for He will make straight your path”. Any plan or aspiration we are going through let’s involved Christ, John 15:5b, said, “...apart from me you can do nothing”.
It’s tough to leave in America. Same here in Canada. I worked so hard to start my own business. When we were starting our own music school daming failures daming struggles daming gabi na dika makatulog. But I am thankful kasi di kami pinabayaan ni Lord we are doing good now.

I hope you will inspire million of people who are experiencing not so good shape right now. To Ms Anna, you are correct that we need to thank the Lord for even simple things like you have mention you have roof and most specially food on the table. For awhile a forgot tp thank the Lord for simple and basic things, but watching your blog by accident inspired me. Thank you po! Wish your family in the right spot and please continue inspiring people. Good Luck!
Planned to retire in the Phil. after 30 years in the US so after retirement, I went home to the old country for a few months but found out it is very different country now, more crowded, more polluted, too much govt red tape and terrible traffic. Changed my mind and returned to Los Angeles enjoying my retirement with wife and family.
We all have dreams, ambitions and imagination. I hope all of those reading this achieve their. In my opinion it not where you’re living it’s more about how you go about life , the choices you make and a little luck never hurts. I know of many Filipinos with dreams of retiring in the Philippines. Often they regret that decision after a few years.
This is the best vlog of yours so far. I am touched and inspired. It is true that it is not in a place you live but how you going to live is all that matter. Good luck to your family. Wish you all the best.

Great story for two individuals who believe in themselves and helping each other to their goals which the support is greatly manifested by your partner especially when things go wrong or bit successful at time, also you show your great suppor to your husband which the word Love for him is seen and felt at all cost. Hello Eric and Anna, I'm a filipina living here in the US trying to reach the American Dream 🤩. Someday, I will move back to the Philippines as well to enjoy life. Thank you for sharing your life story. Stay safe 😷 and healthy. God bless you and your family.
I was there too, in NJ back and forth to the Philippones. I got my Permanent Residence in the US (in Dec. 2011) because of my dad (WW2 Vet.) who became a US Citizen in 2002. First job there in NJ was a mechanic/service receptionist in Meineke then I was able to get a job in NJ Transit but after a year I got burn-out, I went back to the Philippines. In 2013, I went back to NJ land a 4-month part time job in Newark Airport as a bus operator. After that, I went back to the Philippines because my dad was sick and he died in 2015. I never return to the US since then. Now, I have a construction business, I do part time real etate and continued my parent's commercial stalls rental business. For 5 years now I been staying and enjoying life here in the Philippines. By the way, I just bought a brand new Ford Ranger Raptor and I love driving it everyday😊. A gift for myself and a tool for my everyday chores. Hoping and praying for the best to all the brave people out there looking for success and happinessin life. God bless us all. Salute!
It's not so bad here in the USA. Just keep a rifle with in reach for when the humanist socialists/ closet communists/Obamaists/Sanderists attack. 😆.... Missing Mindanao .
Yes why not! It's very inspirational and your experienced gives us also for being patient and hope is coming. Never be disappointed and frustrated in every failures you had because that failures makes a you a better person and by that you will use it to get better and to get your dreams.

@@blackclavish And, by the way before you start talking SHIT to me, that have been here since 1978 and lived in about 7 different states, in addition to that, I have spent time in Texas, Kansas, Nevada, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Oregon and I forgot how many other places I've Spent time in trying to find Something different, and NO, Everywhere I Go in the USA is the SAME SHIT, it's the People.
@@12567NoYouCannot Sounds like everywhere you go it's the same shit because YOU make it that way, not the people around you.

I really touched with your story and it's very inspiring for me that God has blessed you with abundant life ahead no matter what problems and ups and down that you had encountered but in the end there's always a light in the tunnel....God bless you both with your journey as a couple...sending my love for both of you as a loving couple.
All it takes is love and Jesus in our lives. Am a pinay been in the USA for 42 years married to an American and we’re ready to settle in the Philippines soon as this pandemic ends. We’re both retirees. Good luck
I admire your perseverance, Guys!!! Always together with the family, you will have your success. More and more blessings to come to your family.
You are an awesome couple!!! It is good that are sharing your experiences. It is refreshing to see a video about a Filipino interracial couple with a very good relationship and i am happy you believe in God and very hardworking. Please continue to inspire people with your relationship and your relationship with God. I have two sisters that married Americans and both divorced. So, God bless you and your family and your dreams.
Blessed you both and your family coz you put God's first..
ANNA AND ERIC, WISH YOU MORE SUCCESS. YOU GOT A VERY NICE STORY.
YOU ARE REALLY MEANT FOR EACH OTHER. GOD BLESS YOU MORE. 💟❤💟
Me after the pandemic I am going back home to the Philippines.
Happy for you, Eric, Anna, and family! I'm following your every vlogs! Good luck to your careers! God bless you!
I appreciate your wife, Eric , she’s so sweet, she’s a dutiful wife. She struggled with you and never gave up even if you didn’t rise up right away. She’s also a good Filipino speaker, parang Pinay na rin. May good singing voice pa, and so pretty! I hope you will stay in love forever, nakaka inspire kayo.
Na amaze ako sa babae and i think her name is anna she's fluent to speak tagalog than her husband a pure pilipino guy love you booth.
Grabe yung pagka supportive ng misis mo sir Eric, maswerte pamilya meron kayo.
Sana maging masaya at successful kayo someday.
God bless your family.
Anna is a great woman, she is flexible she loves you man to give up everything what she wants.
Where do you live now and how much is your budget per month if you don’t mind.
Of course!! That is everywhere you decide to retire at.
Living outside manila is a lot cheaper, imagine $1500 /mo pension is more than enough plus your personal savings considering your average lifestyle and your age,, healthcare is the only negative side...make sure save some $ ....in case you need to fly back home for health needs..
@Jonathan T. Brown our budget is about $1,200.00 this does not include the pay for 4 people we hired to take care of our property. We have 2 1/2 acres of land

You guys are adorable, stay humble and many blessings to your family.
Thank you! You too!
That's why it's overpopulated there because so many people want to stay in the Philippines.
totally the same in New Zealand. everyone is so busy and forget about appreciating life and relaxation…
ang ganda nga ng kwento ng buhay ng baylosis squad godbless
hahaha...Philippines is the only place on earth, where you can do anything you want as long as you follow & abide the rules..meaning to say, even in other countries, you must do what the government wants, and that's the rules.
An inspiring family journey. If you're not brave enough to try, you'll never do much….God bless!
Yes! Thank you!
Thanks to Vicka & Eugene... Nakilala ko kayo! Love your story😜
i had seen b4 ur other post, and i learned there that the wife was a believer of JESUS CHRIST., as what you'd shared in this post, i do believe also that wherever you are, as you are trusting GOD, HE will bless you., GOD continually bless this family (i'm your brother in CHRIST).
thank you

Thank you for sharing your life experiences living in the US and deciding to move back to the Philippines. I'd been toying the idea of moving back to the Philippines, too. I'm still in the US now. And you just inspired me. I also like what you shared about success. That is so true. We define our purpose and meaning of success.
All I can say to you is, never give up! We all just have to keep moving. Again, thank you. And good luck to both of you!
There's something good in the Philippines so keep hoping and praying &God bless you always.

I TRULY AGREE TO THE SAYING THAT
" WITH GOD, YOU'LL NEVER BE ALONE."
I REMEMBER TO KNOW GOD WHEN
I WAS 11, INNOCENTLY ASKING HIM TO HELP ME FINISH MY SCHOOL, BECAUSE I KNEW WE ARE POOR. THAT'S ALL.
FAST FORWARD, I STUDIED ARCHITECTURE, NOT RICH BUT NOW RETIRING WELL AT 83.
I'M NEAR TO GOD, FAMILY, FRIENDS AND PEOPLE BUT INNOCENT OF THE DEVIL AND CORRUPTIONS.
PRAISE GOD AND THANK HIM EVER MORE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. 💟 ❤ 💟

How inspiring! Thank you both for sharing your journey!
My son born here in the USA introduced me to this beautiful Russian girl, like you. She is the nicest and I wish my son will marry her.

Thank u
Praise the Lord Eric & Anna for sharing you lives’ testimony it’ made inspiration to
your viewers/subscribers.
Im here in US too but for me there's no place like home and that's my country Philippines...until now im still convincing to my husband to live in the Philippines 🇵🇭...
If your not happy in the U.S then you should move back alone to the Philippines.
@@emilyanthony7138 im not saying that im not happy here in USA...duh!🧠
Heard it’s very cheap there. Are there really nice communities there that’s safe?
they're too many foreigners who are now settling in the Phil. Be sure of your decision as this country is becoming crowded as ever. Good luck!
I just realized that success doesn't mean more money, having a family with kids and a beautiful wife is a very big success. Just like me I also migrate from one place to the other together with my family. We start from the scratch but we never give up just like you. It will also give hope and inspire people who listen your story. Godbless and be strong always.
love the thought of Anna, to be thankful on what we have, eat and share what we have on the table, just like what my parents said to us, such a wonderful family, God bless
Inspiring, everything you guys said is true. The way you tell your stories has no pretension, it just come out naturally.
Good Luck!
‘Sometimes you need the hard times that make you stronger and persevere “

This is only I could say for Anna just remain being a good person, charitable so that our Almighty God will bless you more.with your good deeds.
This is the best vlog of yours so far. I am touched and inspired. It is true that it is not in a place you live but how you going to live is all that matter. Good luck to your family. Wish you all the best.
I think the secret is for the wife to obey, respect and support her husband Eric in moving to the Philippines. For Eric he is blessed to have not only a very beautifu wife but also is God centered. God loves your family.
And the secret to a happy marriage if for the husband to obey, respect, and support his wife.
Great story for two individuals who believe in themselves and helping each other to their goals which the support is greatly manifested by your partner especially when things go wrong or bit successful at time, also you show your great suppor to your husband which the word Love for him is seen and felt at all cost. You have not left your husband in the thick of struggles instead Uplifted him in all aspects, really kudos to your story and please consider your great Faith and Prayers always to Our Lord God, thanks my outlook on what has transpired on your great story, God bless us always from Tuguegarao City, Cagayan Philippines.
To obey the husband 🤦 Oh my goodness. It should be based on mutual respect and a partnership between husband and wife.
What do you mean obey her husband??? No no no!!! Marriage is about mutual love, respect and support.

Hello Eric and Anna, I'm a filipina living here in the US trying to reach the American Dream 🤩. Someday, I will move back to the Philippines as well to enjoy life. Thank you for sharing your life story. Stay safe 😷 and healthy. God bless you and your family.
I feel you po. Im here in u.s din, still aiming american dream. Hindi pala madali,😥😢
Salute!
