@@Juan_UrbanoCordova If you know anything about the Mega Man Zero series, you'd understand, but to explain things as best as I can: Tornado Man and all the MM9 Robot Masters were made by Dr. Light, who also created Mega Man and X. Sage Harpuia and the other three Guardians of Neo Arcadia were created from X's DNA (his data if that sound's confusing), so technically, Tornado Man is X's older brother, thus making him Harpuia's great uncle.

+vaiyt According to the lore, he was a clown robot before he gained electrical powers. He used to be a prop on a show Doc Wily loved watching, and when it was cancelled, the good Doctor swooped in to save the guy from an ignoble fate in the crusher. He then MASSIVELY overspent on upgrades and parts for the long-armed robot, enough to build two entire Robot Masters out of. Which he did: Frost Man and Aqua Man.
Wow, I would never think about Clown Man backstory beign that detailed! It would be nice if the level design of every robot master (or the battle with them) gave us some hint about then, because you never knows when one of then was originally an ancient alien robot or the star of one of Wily's favorite tv shows! In fact, this type of thing makes both the RM's and Wily appeal more to me. You can have a better idea about their personalities :P .
This is miles better than dare I say it Cinossu's VGM of this I discovered back in 2008. Awesome work like always! Though of course his version could be used in a Sonic hack but meh whatever. :P
Same for Splash Women looking like Leviathan. Kinda surprised that Capcom/Inti Creates didn't make Magma Man look like Fefnir to finish the 3 guardians from zero 2&3
That's what I figured... Odd that I'm not running into the same problem. Maybe I'll grab Teck's MIDI for this and futz around with it some more to try and see if I can find the cause.
Also, if you're wondering how I came about this, I discovered that the first channel WOULD pitch bend, but the others wouldn't. So I compared what was different about them and after trying a bunch of things I noticed the color of the notes was set to something different. It seemed unlikely, but it worked. Basically, all I did was select the first green color, select all the notes and use the change color command under the Piano Roll's edit, and boom, things were pitch bending.
I've tried that, same issue. It seems that the Midi CCs are apparant no matter what channel/instrument you are on even if u make a new/clone one. Even if the instrument didn't have any pitch bend data on it in the first place. Its truly frustrating
Yeah I know, I wanted to create my own VOPM instrument for that clavinet sounding thing, instead of a crappy soundfont one, so the pitch bends at the beginning part are non existant. I tryed to make up for it with the leads tho
I know a way to do it within the "channel controls > channel pitch" in the Piano Roll. But for some strange reason, it only seems to take affect when I create a song completely from scratch. If I start with a midi file as a basis, even If I was to completely redraw the melody in myself, the channel pitch wheel physically wont move. its really frustrating
Ive tried copying it onto a new channel, same problem the pitch bend data I drew in didnt take effect. Even if the original midi didnt have any kinds of pitch bend data on that instrument
I've had that same problem. I guess it's because the midi file itself has its own channel controls that override whatever you do. Same thing happens with changing the channel volume. I think you might be able to get around it by copying the notes and pasting them in a new channel. Not sure though.
Are you sure there's no way to do pitch bends with VOPM in FL? Because I know you can do it in Ableton with the midi sends and I'd find it odd if FL didn't have a way to also.
Well, in any case, if you can find a way to do MIDI CC sends to plugins within FL Studio, this PDF should come in pretty useful: gorenfeldDOTnet/lou/VOPM.pdf Just replace the DOTs with actual dots. It's basically the missing manual to VOPM, I dunno if you've seen it before.
I've been trying to reproduce your problem, and I'm having a hell of a time doing it. At first I thought it was the channel events overriding your automation or something like that, but copy pasting the notes doesn't carry events over. I'm currently futzing around with a Turtles in Time MIDI (because hell did that game have awesome music) and can't seem to figure out why you'd be having trouble with it at all. What version of FL are you using?
Ok, so, Renegade, I think I solved your problem. I don't know why this is what is causing it, as I'm no expert at DAWs, but... Select all the notes in the Piano Roll of whatever instrument wont pitch bend and change them... To the color green. The first color green, the first of all the colors to be specific. I shit you not. This fixes it. If it's any other than that first color, it will not work.
that pretty much proves VOPM doesn't natively support it then right? other VSTs don't have this problem, because VOPM was a canceled project. that new genesis VST is out but i'm not sure how good it is.
isn't that because of the midi automations? if you copy it and paste it on a new pattern, it should get rid of that. unless i'm thinking of something else...

Oh, also, while I'm busy going on about random crap, there's also this VST if you don't mind throwing a bit of money around: alyjameslabDOTcom/alyjameslabfmdrive.html Note it's pretty new and I've never tried it so I have NO idea if it works as well as it would be expected to, but if you look up the TH-cam videos on it, it seems to show some promise and its interface seems less ramshackle.
