Interesting,a secondary main, with a manned tower, and manual signals! East Coast,or West Coast, and near where?? Also noticed a lot of ex-EWS,now DB locomotives, why the slow repaints?? Excellent photography,as usual, patience personified! Thank you 😇!

This is the line between Grimsby and Immingham, with it’s oil refineries and docks, and Scunthorpe with its steel mill. The line continues to Doncaster on the ECML. This was shot about ten or so years ago when I was still in the video business.

@@petercrook4626 Sounds like the old Great Central line(s),that produced the Grimsby/ Immingham docks, under Sir Sam Fay! See Great Central trilogy by George Dow! Thanks for posting an,otherwise overlooked line, for an overlooked railroad! Fascinating, and well done!

@@roberthuron9160 Back in the dim and distant past (48? Years ago) before I emigrated to the USA, I worked in the Immingham BR TOPS office, just outside theTMD

@@petercrook4626 Add a couple of notes! I've got a few of your videos, and one of my favorites is the Montreal Alco/Montreal Locomotive with the FPA's,and those assorted Road Switchers!Gone, but definitely not forgotten! And also your Indian Railways videos, because if you went there now,it would be unrecognizable, due to fact they have new rolling stock, including double-deckers,plus push-pulls,very interesting and on several sites on TH-cam,oh and the Japanese, they haven't stood still either, extremely interesting!!! It's just when you think you have things down, everyone gets changed, such is life! P.S.,I was lucky enough to get published(still photos),and did my share,on the Corridor, and other points,so my range is/has been much narrower than yours, but the quality of your work, was always excellent, even under trying conditions(Winter shots on the Arizona divide, yup!). Real glutton for punishment, yikes! Thanks for the feedback, you haven't been forgotten either, thank you!!
