Your Vlogmas videos were so fun to watch. And thank you for a glimpse into the Stranraer area. That is one part of Scotland I have never been to. I have been in many countries but there are still bits of my homeland I have never visited - shame on me. Lovely to see the two dogs having a riotous time together. Wishing you and Leigh all the best for the coming New Year.
You can absolutely use the dress form for knitted items! How fun!! And the swift and winder is a game changer 👌 happy new year! It's been so fun following along on your adventures here, thanks for continuing to share 🤗
I loved the history story. And the view was lovely during the drive. Maybe a video of you guys driving recording the beautiful view and hearing you both talk about some historic stories.
The Corries were the soundtrack to my childhood & their Massacre of Glencoe never ceases to make me tear up! Highland Cathedral is also what we walked down the aisle too… piped in! Northern irish / Scottish family!
What a lovely cozy Christmas 🎄 thank you Caroline for the awesome vlogmas content but also ALL your videos, they really got me through this year!! Such a treat to have your vlogs in the run up to my Scotland trip earlier this month, which was incredible and formative ✨ wishing you and Lee a restful end to 2024 and a happy Hogmanay 🥂
Awh, loved the wee Girvan shout out, we forget how pretty and rural and unspoilt it is in the south of Scotland. Used to have day trips to Stranraer and around there from Girvan. HAPPY NEW YEAR XX
Firstly.... I think the little cork coaster thingies are car coasters that'll fit in those cup holder jobbies. More importantly though, what an absolute delight your vlogmas has been. I've looked forward to and enjoyed every single one. They were the perfect length for the burning of my advent candle so a tradition was born, nice wee sit down to watch you and light my candle. Wishing you all the very best of things for 2025. Happy New Year
I loved your Vlogmas! Never apologize for taking a little time for yourself on the holidays! You deserve to enjoy the season. I loved your road trip to your family's home, especially the drive down the A82. My husband and I drove all around the Highlands in 2019, and that stretch (although terrifying for Americans!) made us fall in love with Scotland. We returned in 2023 and walked the West Highland Way. I can't imagine any place more beautiful than Scotland. Thank you for sharing! Best wishes for the New Year!
I am so happy that you were present with your family during Christmas and not worrying about vloging. The amount of effort you put into vlogmas hasn’t gone unnoticed and I personally loved being part of you and Lee’s everyday life. Thank you so much for sharing. 😊. Sending you much love from New Brunswick, Canada 🇨🇦…….all the best in the New Year! 🥰
This journey was so lovely and became a part of my night routine. I also love that there's a whole slew of stores with Ben nevis in the background. Somehow, I missed that when I drove there to hike it many years ago on my honeymoon and thought we were for sure in the middle of nowhere. Apparently not 😅 Cheers to the New Year's caroline! 🎉
Thank you so, so much for this amazing vlogmas, Caroline - your videos made me so happy 🥰💛 There are hundreds of millions of TH-camrs but only a few who make really good videos and I'm so glad you became one of them and I found you! I really appreciate the effort you put into your videos and the glimpses of your everyday life, sharing your opinions and problems and your honesty. Wishing you and Lee a lovely Hogmanay and all the best for the new year! 🍀✨ PS: Will miss the Gilmore Girls Advent calender 😂
Hey Caroline, I hope you are well. I just wanted to say how much i have thoroughly enjoyed your first season of Vlogmas. For a newbie i think you have done an amazing job. Its so time consuming along with working everyday and living your life. Thank you for all your hard work in doing this. I only came across your channel very recently and i absolutely love it. You are always so bubbly and friendly. Have an amazing Hogmanay and i'm sending you many blessings for the new year of 2025. 2025!!! how crazy is that?
An amazing vlogmas!! It was such a joy to watch this December, and I’ll miss it so much! Can’t wait for the weekly uploads 💕 delighted you had a fab Christmas ❤
Yea! Just made my day when I saw that you had made a video! Thank you!❣And thank you so much for doing Vlogmas. I know that it was a lot of work. It was lovely to see where you grew up. Such beautiful countryside. Looking forward to you regular videos.
I absolutely adored your vlogmas, each video was such a lovely end to the day and I’m having to stretch the last few for as long as possible now! 😅 You’ve inspired me this last month, I’m rediscovering my love of crochet in the evenings and I’ve started seeking out little moments in my day to find the cosy and appreciate what I have around me 😊 thank you for all the time you put into vlogmas!
You were speaking of the Massacre at Glen Coe… I attended The Great Gathering in 2009. In the final evening there was clan entertainment at the Edinburgh Castle esplanade. The clans had marched from Holyrood Palace to the Esplanade and were introduced as they entered the Castle gate. When the Campbell Clan was announced, there was much booing and chants , “ We will never forget!” I was very startled at the depth of emotion…. A Gram from Missouri and a proud member of Clan Bruce.
I feel like Ive gotten to know you and your world so much better through vlogmas and your videos definitely made my december so much more wholesome ♡ Thanks Caroline and hope you'll have a wonderful 2025
What a lovely Sunday surprise, looking forward to our weekly Sunday catch up videos being back in business. So cosy. Thank you for vlogmas, I loved it so much and you were a real highlight of the boring working days during December, picked me back up and catapulted me back into those cosy and festive vibes. Happy new year when it comes to you, Lee and Nuala! Xx
I am a wearer of brooches. I love them. I really love your new hat, too. Great vlog. When I vacationed in Scotland, I went to some of the places you mentioned i.e. Fort William, Glencoe, Glasgow, etc. so it was nice to hear the names and get glimpses of them again.
I absolutely loved your Vlogmas!!! I finally sat down to watch the last few that I missed because of the holiday period frenzy and just had a much needed cozy afternoon in. I'm really looking forward to keep watching your channel in 2025. Wishing you a happy new year and sending much love from switzerland!
Awe, Lauren - I haven't seen a summer pudding since I was little! My grandma used to make them - she lived through WWII. What a little nostalgic thing to witness!!
I am SO glad that I am not the only one who has to have a clean house to return home to after a holiday. My husband thinks I'm weird, but there's nothing like coming home to tidiness and respite.
Happy new year! You’re a natural when it comes to vlogging. I really enjoy your videos. It took me a while to get use to your accent being from Canada. My husband and I have bought a ticket to ride at your recommendation. Cantan was sold out, but we’ll keep an eye out for it. Thanks for sharing and keep making videos!
Loved your vlogmas! I’ll miss seeing you guys every day, and glad you’ve had happy holidays! Also, re: brooches - I totally think we should bring brooches back! I’ve been trying to find ways to squeeze the vintage family ones I have in the rotation and I always get complements on them. Brings out the 85 yo woman in me in a way that I love. 😂 Happy new year!
Loved how you shared the history of the Glencoe massacre as you drove through! I guess as a descendent of both MacDonalds and Campbells, I’d have to just stand on the threshold of that pub! 😂
Hey what a lovely surprise to get a vlogmas after the day 😊. Loved the van chat and learning a bit of history you guys really know your stuff! Looks like you had a great time, totally agree with you always best to have a clean home to come back to, especially after being poorly 🤒 good to get those bad memories away ❤. Have a fab new year, I’m still getting over the virus so mine will probably be a very quiet one. You have done the most amazing job in 2024 so I’m sure 2025 will be an incredible year for you ❤
A brilliant vlogmas. Well done! You've been so gracious and funny working with that crazy Gilmore girls advent calendar. Brava! Also, thanks so much for all your content, it really helped me make our trip to Skye and the Highlands so fabulous. I kept hoping I'd bump into you and then I thought maybe it was a bit weird!!. It trip was fabulous and unforgettable and hopefully we'll come again soon. Happy new year, best wishes to you both
Thank you so much for the best vlogmas! My partner and I are spending 6 months on Skye in 2025 for work (from Stirlingshire) and we’ve loved your vlogs for inspo ❤️
Would not have been mad if you took this week off what with it being Christmas - but taking next week off post Vlogmas sounds like a good compromise 😊💛
There is an AMAZING novel called Witch Light by Susan Fletcher about Corrag and the Glencoe massacre. It is one of my favorite books of all time. Hope to make it to Glencoe on the future! Thanks for sharing the story and all you do about your beautiful country!!😊
Love car games 😂 We live in Cornwall and drive home to visit our family in Edinburgh so we also play lots of similar games - our favourite is ‘Yellow Car’ but we always end up with bruises 😂😂😂😂
Oh Caroline how do you find the sizing on Blandstone boots and what model do you have please? Would like the same but unsure of the sizing ❤ thanks Oh and the hat looks fantastic on you
I’d say my one with a cord was better, but I 100000% am more likely to hoover more often now that I have a cordless, and for that reason I think the trade off of less power is worth it!!
I have a serious question, it seems people outside the US, European, British Isles areas, seem to use the bed toppers, yet they look like they move around. Wouldn’t you rather just have a pillow top or a purple mattress? 😊😊
Nice to have you back on sunday morning, Caroline 😊❤! Looooved the Gilmore girls advent calender, will miss you discovering the silly gifts 😂😂😂 Oehhh we have Percy Pigs in Holland as well, they are called 'Biggetjes' (meaning baby pigs) in Dutch 😊 We eat the ears first as well 😂 Question for you and other watchers: Who are your favourite TH-camrs to watch? 😊❤ You are obviously my fav 😂🎉 I like Hippy Highland Living as well 😊 Greetings to Lee 🎉😊
There is another girl on Skye I have found Niamh McKinnon she is lovely to watch but like you say Caroline is my favourite too ❤. In Edinburgh Shawna Explores and Jen Harris. How about you? Who do you like?
Your vlogmas was the best Christmas gift!!! Loved having your cozy videos to watch so often!

My wife and I loved your vlogmas, and especially enjoyed the stories from your tour guiding days. Loved learning about Scottish history.

Haha, I was excited as well! 😊❤ thanks, Caroline
Loved your vlogmas! So cute!!!
Hope you have a great new year! 🎉 this video reminded me of my trip to Scotland in October. Our guide told us that story, too.
Unrelated question but wanted to ask how you are finding the LC kettle and whether it chips? I really want one but am put off by the bad reviews😢
Love your videos and absolutely would prefer you enjoy your life! We can wait. 😊
Thank you 🥰

After you guys made bets on arrival time, we need a time stamp posted on the shot of the drive up the farm driveway. 😄
We were both wrong, we got there at 7.05!
Love car games 😂 We live in Cornwall and drive home to visit our family in Edinburgh so we also play lots of similar games - our favourite is ‘Yellow Car’ but we always end up with bruises 😂😂😂😂
Ahahah a classic!!
Loved the history lesson. Couldn’t help but think of outlander lol Are there haunted history tours? Seems like Feb.13 wouldn’t be a spooky day.
Also love your furry hat and knitting equipment! I crochet, so that would have been on my list too!
Oh Caroline how do you find the sizing on Blandstone boots and what model do you have please? Would like the same but unsure of the sizing ❤ thanks
Oh and the hat looks fantastic on you
I grew up/live on a farm right outside Stranraer too x

Great vlog , thanks for sharing ❤
I love summer pudding ❤😂
Oh my gosh I can’t wait to tell my sister ahahga
Is that Shark vacuum any good? I'm thinking that if I had a lighter vacuum, then maybe I'll do it more often lol
I’d say my one with a cord was better, but I 100000% am more likely to hoover more often now that I have a cordless, and for that reason I think the trade off of less power is worth it!!

Hygge is pronounced Hoo-gah
