Ugh what a bummer! Yeah I would really like Mafex to address their current articulation at the torso…that and some leg issues are the only things holding them back from being next level excellent
The torso issue must be very, very common. I bought him twice, because my first purchase, like yours, would pop off when I would crunch his abs forward or backwards. So, several months later I decided to buy him again, thinking that I would get a better one without this issue, and nope! My second has the same issue! I’m glad it’s not broken but it is frustrating and annoying to pop him back in over and over again. I am very disappointed in this figure and at Mafex, like get your stuff together! I’ve been very uninspired to take pics of him because of these issues, but maybe I’ll come around and take pics of him because despite these issues, he’s not broken lol. Also if it does brake I’ll have spare parts which is always a good thing.
Yup that’s why I haven’t opened the backup yet…I’m keeping my expectations low for when I want to photograph him, but yeah, I’ve been pretty uninspired to take him off the shelf knowing he had these issues

Agreed…was hoping for epic levels but he’s still the best version that’s ever come out for the character to be sure
my nightwing has the same torso issue. any slight forward movement and it just flys off. makes it impossible to hit any dynamic pose
