Ok there were some really bad ones and then some where it's an understandable no-call. My biggest gripe (aside from blatantly missed calls obviously) are when refs THINK they see something and then go ahead and call a penalty just because they can. If you're at all unsure then stow the flag. Arrest the arm. Wait on the whistle. Probably a penalty is not a penalty. With that said, I gotta disagree on many of the clips in here. A lot of the no calls featured in this clip are very subjective or extremely easy to miss. It's so easy to sit back with instant slow-mo replay and find every single minute infraction. I bet if someone did that for every single play of every single game there'd be hundreds of "missed" calls every week. I seriously doubt the author of this video actually watches every single play in slow motion from multiple angles for every single game. Sometimes it does look like it's reaching for stuff though. I know I've been vocal on previous weeks' videos berating the refs and such ... but I guess I just feel like this week wasn't as bad (a few of these clips notwithstanding) Anyway ...... the most egregious one I think is the refs spot after the Trautman catch on 3rd-and-3 That spot was literally 3 yards short of the spot refs usually spot catches like that. Randy just needs to make Sarcastiball already. Refs are so power tripping you can't even touch another player while having momentum and not get a penalty. None of them took a physics class.
The first cowboys one was Karma, they missed a PI on the Vikings. That was a catch, was reviewed, so how it's a bad call, is beyond me, just picking here. The taunting did happen, and no one has proof if the assistant started it. You can't see his mouth at the start only after. The helmet hit was intentional, he deserved that flag, look how he acts after, it was a target hit.
You know what, I don't blame the d line or rushers for grabbing collars or a bit of facemask with how out of control farcical the roughing the passer flags have been of late. Either the league reviews the spirit of the law or just outright state QBs are not to be touched henceforth because it's ridiculous now.
5:00 how in the literal fuck is that a bad call? the ball was out of 9’s hands for like a full second before the hit, it’s just a sloppy play by the defender who wasn’t paying attention. also how can 6:15 and 10:13 both be bad calls? they’re both incidental hits on sliding qbs where the defender isn’t able to stop themselves in time. make up your mind bro
That was a catch by Lamb. You failed to point out the the 3 points that they took from the Cowboys just so that they can review that catch again. Then the Cowboys had to re-kick the field goal from 60 yards again. If there is a team that gets cheated by the refs the most is the Cowboys. The pats and jets game was boring but it would not have mattered because one person that was chasing him was out of bounds but there was no block in the back
Maybe I'm just being the Devil's Advocate, but on the CeeDee lamb catch I don't think the evidence was "clear and obvious" as dictated by the rules. Since it was already called a catch, it stood. Also on the Joe Burrow late hit I think there was offensive holding on 73 preventing a sack by 56. This takes place behind Burrow, if you're wondering. Meaning both no-calls are meaningless because if they were called they would offset. Tell me if I'm wrong.
I guess even the "clear and convincing" threshold can be kinda subjective ... because I've got no interest (or hate!) in Dallas or any of their players, and for ... whoever it was they played.
