    THANK YOU!!!! This repair cost me 108$ in parts vs the 560$ (+ labor) the garage was quoting me.

    Note for anyone doing this replacement after watching:
    remove your ABS sensor before you remove the hub. Get it out of the way or it could get damaged by the axle moving around.

    Great instructional video. Did you end up cleaning the WD-40 off of the rotor before you mounted the tire? I am a bit OCD with my brake rotors and always try to make sure they are clean and dry before putting everything back together.

    Thanks great video! Really helped except my bearing was seized into the hub! Managed to separate it in the end but had to destroy the disc guard along the way. Honestly not that hard of a job that I first thought!

    A local MAzda dealer is trying to tell me my 2014 Mazda 6 front wheel bearings are a press fit bearing and I told him it's a bolt on because it is, but he keeps insisting it's a press fit bearing. Am I missing something?

      have the wheel bearings been replaced? could be any of the four. also could be a harmonic in the drivetrain due to worn mounts.

      180 ft lb

    • @notadog1701
      @notadog1701 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      there are 3 steps recommended to do in the service manual rather than 1:
      - tighten to ~100ft•lb
      - loosen 180 degrees
      - tighten to ~190ft•lb
      unfortunately that means you'll probably need someone to hold the brake for you
