I can recognize your work by only watching your hands and with the sound of the video turned down. I appreciate your talent and learning from your videos. Thank you for sharing.

love your videos. it is cool to see the progression of your tools from hack saw blades to the new stainless and carbide one's. as a new potter I have picked up so much knowledge from your videos, but could you either point to one you have done, or do one if you haven't, on different problems and your remedies to them. An example would be: cracks around a foot ring on the inside of trimmed foot on bottom of bowl. I believe I have compressed the bottom and have turned the bowl over to dry more evenly and trimmed it to a uniform 3mm thickness but I keep getting cracks in the porcelain clay that i have been using. Not even making it to bisque fire, they crack around the circumference of the foot on the bottom side but at the inside of the foot ring. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Try to cut the cracked bowl open to see if the thickness is even all the way on the bottom. Sometimes the uneven base will cause thicker portion dry slower than the thinner portion hence crack. Also, when throwing, do not leave too much water puddle staying too long inside the bowl which might be the reason why you have cracks near the foot rim.
