Lee Pierce you know what's funny, it sold, and in 1 year after went to 3 owners. the guy who bought it sold it for a Harley in months, then it went to another owner and landed in Florida? bike is on a journey ;)
well I live in Florida, maybe I will be next! I am looking to get one, there are a couple on craigslist throughout the state but none as nice as yours!
I have owned several bikes, my last was the 2003 Yamaha R1, I have not owned one since. Now as a middle aged man, I was thinking the Ulysses would be a nice ride and a good ride position as opposed to my last bike.
Love the Yellow....Mine is 2009 XB12X (Blue)..with the same Zega side boxes..I wish I had the rear one.(like you mentioned I have never seen on around here, NC) Mine came with them.. (Happy).. Sorry you have to sale yours, I would Never want to sale, I had the 2011 Triumph Tiger 800..Hated the inline 3 (whinny) engine..Buell vtwin was music to my ears and the twist of the throttle was all it took on the test ride, and I rode back to the dealer, and told them you aren't getting these Keys Back, I am taking this Bike Home !! YOU WILL REGRET SELLING THIS Ulysses :-) Peace :-)
2 year unlimited mileage warranty on a motorcycle and some morons today want to badmouth these bikes I recently spoke to the manager of a European cycle store it sells all kinds of high-end expensive Brands and he said this was his favorite bike of all time He put a hundred thirty thousand on it with no problems
+KMJ187 So, in a strange process of events, it seems as if I am now the new owner of you (old) motorcycle. You bikes seems to have made it to Minnesota. I found it listed online, purchased it and had it shipped to Florida. The individual that I purchased it from it swapped the exhaust for a stock exhaust. I was a little bummed about that. Otherwise, it is still in the same condition as in your video. I actually stummbled on to your video while I was waiting for the bike to be shipped. I was wanting to see more Ulysses's in this color and this video came up. I was shocked. Then, I viewed it almost daily until it arrived here. If you actually see this posting, I would love to talk to you. Great job on the bike. I love it.
+Thunder Storm I hope the seller had all the paperwork still with it (I had all service records from new till 21000 miles). Wow bike got passed around fast, I sold it in March of 2014? It made its way up to Massachusetts from my house. How it got to Minnesota from there I have no clue? That sucks the exhaust was swapped out :-(
+KMJ187 I was really bummed when it arrived and it had a stock exhaust. It is a great bike. It did still have all the paperwork. Apparently the individual that you sold it to in Mass. did not keep it long. He sold it to the guy I bought it from in Minn. He decided he wanted a traditional Harley and the is how I ended up with it. It has less the 25k on the odometer. I expect to be doing the 25k service in the next 2 weeks. I have already put about $1k in it since I got it. Nothing was wrong with it. I ordered some more Touratech goodies, new Michelin tires, and some aesthetic pieces. I just wanted to let you know it found a happy home and is being enjoyed as much as cared for. I am also still looking for another Spec Ops exhaust to get it back to where you had it.
Beautiful bike well taken care of, whoever picked this up got a really nice bike for a fair price!
