I might be in the minority, but I'm out on Flow. I've had the Futr X and the Curry 9, and I just don't enjoy it. It either stops to hard on clean courts (sounds strange, but my ankles/feet don't enjoy that stop) or it collects everything that is on the court and slides out. I think they look great and I've loved the Curry line since it began, but I just can do these.
I also have it and I hate how narrow it is(it hurts the 2 sides of my foot), I also hate the cushion of it can't believe why people said its good, when I tried the cushion test many times it's just hard and I can't feel the bounce.
Flow Tech, maybe old / boring but it performs really well, and that's what really matters a hoop shoe that works according to your playing style. I'm not sick of it i still love flow tech in Curry's shoes #Curry10 👌🇵🇭

I have to say this (probably somebody will relate, including Chris): After playing for years with one of the minimal and lightest (if not the lightest) shoes of all time, the Nike Kobe Mamba Instinct, almost every other shoe feels heavy on my feet. I recently went to a court "just to watch" some people playing. I ended up playing wearing a pair of Reebok Royal Simples, which are not basketball shoes, but are even lighter than the Mamba Instinct and also don't have a rubber outsole just like the Currys 8 through 10. It felt so great. What I'm trying to say is that the number one thing I personally look for on a basketball shoe is that they are as minimal and light as possible, so I can appreciate the fact that UA and the Curry brand were as bold as to taking the risk of taking the rubber outsole out of the equation to save weight, specially at the bottom of the shoe, without compromising traction (although compromising durability depending on the surface).

Im in my early 40s and it's something I'd always been in disagreement with either the shoe sales people or teamates etc. I'm fine when I play in low tops, been doing that since my teens in non basketball shoes mind you. More importantly you look at tennis players who's sport requires greater multidirectional movement at all times, and they wear low top shoes.
Are you sure because you look at the some of the retro Jordans like the 12 which feels like the ankle receives a bit of support. I’m not an expert. Just saying.
@@elmascholo13 I will say that of course Jordans ( and every other brand) will have ankle support, they all have to capitalize on the marketing. Before Jordans you had converse also with hi tops. But take things back before and players were playing in low cut pumas in the 70s. This is not to say that some players won't benefit from ankle support ie steph curry but largely that's still a small percentage. You really can wear low top shoes. You have to stengthened first the body before looking at external solutions. I always felt traditional basketball footwear slowed me down and I could never utilize my speed.

I feel that the high tops really help with stability but I am not a professional by any means I just like the stability feel when playing outside for fun but you are right, it def limits your movement.......
Even if Curry likes firm cushioning, they should make another shoe with Flow as a carrier foam but something more cushiony on the inside. I have curry 8s but haven't had much reason to but the last 2 models.
i stopped buying nike and just transition to curry. i own the curry 8,9,and10 thats all iam going to wear. i love the shoes it doesnt hurt my foot and its very comptable. like i used to own a kyrie and i threw that shit across the court it hurt my foot so bad.

I was a die hard UA Curry fan for years, but the 9's had the worse build quality and the torsion bar ended up breaking through the sole. Very disappointing experience and UA customer services was horrendous to deal with! Still a huge Steph fan and he's my favourite player, but this year I gave my money to Nike for the Nike Jordan Luka 1 and Zoom Freak 4 and I don't regret it for a second! Also, the design is getting stale on the Curry line now
When will the performance review on this going to come out? I like this colorway its clean however, i dont like the white outsole. UA and curry brand should have it colored.

I just wished that they tweaked thr density of the flow cushion and make it bouncier. 8 and 9 feels the same and I'm guessing the 10s are no different
It actually feels way better because there’s more padding at the toes allowing for comfortable close outs.
