This is definitely one of the most important videos you've uploaded.
Something I've noticed: not only is the daily CPR useful for trading the 1H chart, but other timeframes combine well with different CPRs as well.
    For example:
4-hour CPR on the 15-minute or 5-minute chart
1-day CPR on the 1-hour chart
1-week CPR on the 4-hour chart
-1month CPR on the 1-day chart
Just as wide daily CPRs signal strong support/resistance and narrow CPRs signal stop hunting, the same idea is also relatively represented in the other CPR-timeframe combinations listed above.
The fresh CPR rule also applies in these
For traders looking for an alternative to moving average ribbons, I suggest plotting the different CPRs listed above on the same chart by:
    - opening the CPR indicator mentioned in the video,
    - going to the CPR indicator's Settings and changing the timeframe on the indicator, and
    - manually drawing different-colored boxes over the CPRs plotted by the indicator (for example: pink = 4-hour, light purple = daily, dark purple = weekly, blue = monthly).

You always amaze me - I can´t believe this information is distributed freely by you when it is so obviously valuable. Thx again. The idea of using the Tenken-sen in combo with CP
R is intriguing as is using the CPR to forecast a probable ranging versus trending day. Good "easy" money can be made on ranging days if you have the right tools.

Hi, this is a great video, thank you. I trade on the IG platform in the UK. The Pivot point indicator is calculated as you suggest but the upper and lower bands are different and I would like to add them manually. For an IG 24-hr market like the SP500, what time should the daily pivot point start and end? Should it start and end at midnight GMT (which my platform indicator does) or should it be more aligned with the US cash market, say 1300 to 1300 GMT? I have tried plotting both and the midnight GMT CPR seems to miss some trigger points but it’s not definitive. Any suggestions? Thanks.

This is a more advanced strategy, hourly pivots. A food suggestion for a follow up video.

If you initiate A weekly pivot trade on Tuesday OR Wednesday do you take into consideration daily pivot for that day in addition to trading in the direction of weekly pivot OR do you just ignore daily pivot for that day--I would think that the direction of daily pivot & weekly pivot should be the same for trading EDGE/SUCCESS--if these two pivots conflict, would it be better not to take that pair trade--please comment your action under these circumstances. Thank you.

Is it ok if we use the default pivot points or we have to draw them on our selves

    • @TheSecretMindset
      @TheSecretMindset  2 ปีที่แล้ว

You don't need to draw them, use an indicator!
