- So I recently helped a friend find a phone for under $500 and this XR seemed to fit the bill, I checked eBay and Swappa but some listings looked sketchy so I checked Amazon's renewed site. They offer both a Renewed (90 day warranty) and Renewed Premium (1 year warranty).
I got this one from a seller with 90%+ positive feedback and it cost $364. Overall I'm pleased with the condition but had concerns with adhesive sticking from the side and top from what appears to be a display replacement. The battery health on this phone was 87%.
If you're looking for a cheaper used iPhone, Amazon Renewed might be a good way to go. I recommend going with sellers with good ratings to avoid issues.

My iPhone XR is still going strong. Surprised that it hasn’t needed an upgrade yet!
When I gave my XR to a niece it was in perfect condition. T Mobile gave her 400 for it towards the newer iPhone 12. The XR still had 100% battery health. For 17 months it was extremely lightly used. Sometimes I didn’t even take it with me because I have a Verizon connected Apple Watch and at home I have 4 other devices with much larger screens starting with a 7.9 inch IPad Mini 5

I have been using my used iPhone XR for a week now and it’s been great…..batttery life was at 94% when I bought it and it’s really good.
I would have kept it 😂😂 but I don’t want to live in fear of my phone being destroyed when wet once

Nice video ian! The screen bezel marks would bother me. Is the screen laying flat at least? If so they probably just scuffed it accidentally while opening it and it’ll probably be okay
It’s laying properly in the housing but looks like a part of the adhesive is sticking out on the one side.

Man my 11 pro max battery health is at 95% and it’s life is kinda funky. I thought amazon renewed phones had to have a certain battery health.
For the renewed its 80%+ and for Amazon Renewed Premium its 90%+ battery health.

@@SaithusX yeah I have the same issue, I got an 11 pro max from Amazon renewed with a 90% battery health but the battery runs out extremely quick. Did you end up keeping yours or did you get a replacement?
@@jeriljoseph7071 Oddly enough my 11 pro max still has the same battery. I found a deal on a S21 ultra and my 11 pro collects dust now.

Just check the sellers closely and their reviews. If it’s Amazon renewed it has a 90 day warranty. If it’s renewed premium it’s a 1 year warranty

Check the settings once you get it and it will show unlocked. And yes it’s safe, you can return it if it doesn’t work for you

Yes! Amazon do a no questions asked return, just remember to remove all your data from the phone beforehand or they won’t refund you.
