ALL the guitars played sounded amazing, all in-tune and great condition. Secondly. Your shop was simply awesome, love the way the guitars are organised and displayed. This is acoustic heaven.
Yesterday I too purchased an Eastman E80m-TC…I did it online & should have it tomorrow, don’t care doing online without playing but I have 2 other Eastman guitars I’m very happy with so I went for it. The E10SS/V I believe is the other acoustic I have and it’s great & a T386 semi hallow I like but think the neck is to thick for me but I try to bond a bit longer…if not I’ll sell it to someone with big hands or long fingers.🤷♂️
furch by far , love the sound of it , much more detailed than de eestman , every string you play on the furch sounds good , mis half of the tones on the eestman , just my humble upinion :)
LOVE your final choices, I do mostly fingerpicking and after a long process of listening to maybe 100 sound samples of various guitars on TH-cam (before watching your vid) I settled on and purchased something quite close - a Furch OM (cedar rosewood). Also, the first guitar I ever purchased (when I was a kid in the late 70’s) was a Hohner Contessa - which is a very nice Japanese copy of a Martin D-18 (which I still own and love). Thanks guys - you made me feel like I chose well. 😁❤️🎶
Thanks. That was alot of fun. You guys chose two great guitars. I think I preferred the Eastman, but I'm a dread guy. As for potatoes, nothig beats them new and boiled.
I say the Eastman E8D-TC. Always loved the full rich sound of a dreadnaught. Although I recently acquired an Eastman OM, that although it suits me more for fingerpicking, is loud and fuller sounding than I expected. I would love to have a chance to play the Furch. I can only imagine its quality too.
Being left handed, when I go into a many guitar stores in the states, I feel like I’m a diabetic in a candy store… I can’t try anything- last one I was in had one $200 Acoustic --
The Furch is magic. Nothing wrong with the Eastman- until you hear the Furch. A real treat - had to watch this video again. My under $2K axe is a Taylor 224- ce Koa, natural finish. Warm with one of the best necks. Plus it plugs in. I have previously owned a '70's Martin D-18, an '80s Guild D40, the 224 koa holds its own. No, the grand auditorium isn't as loud as a dreadnought. but an angelic tone. And will only get better over time. Nice to know they're are still guitars under 2K new, that are special.
Loving the furch, I prefer the dreadnought shape Hard to decide on this one. Furch wins. Yeahhhhh. What about best guitar under €3000. Best wishes Dean 🇬🇧
@@thefellowshipofacoustics hey guys what is the best dreadnought for bluegrass style guitar This would make a good video comparison test. Who makes the best dreadnought. I have a d42. So something around €3000 - €6000. Thanks Love the videos you all do. Dean 🇬🇧

I really like the furch. I'm starting to think about swapping my Eastman E20om for the Furch vintage 2 or 3. What is your opinion about the two guitars?
@@thefellowshipofacoustics I really like the sound of the Collings OM2H, but it was way too expensive for me, so I tried an Eastman E8OM TC and E20OM and I liked the adirondack the most, but I'm still thinking about how the Furch Vintage would sound in compared to the Eastman and Collings.
Interesting, the E8D-TC also made it to my final list of potential dreadnoughts. One question that might help me with my choice: do you think a Sigma SDR-28 is that much worse than the Eastman E8D-TC? It's cheaper and it's based on the D-28 as well.
We used to deal Sigma as well but switched to Eastman because we felt they were of higher quality! Both great guitars though. Keep in mind the Sigma doesn't have a TC top ;)
@@thefellowshipofacoustics, thanks for your reply! I'm using a Sigma J-45 style all-solid guitar and I'm really happy with the value for the money, so if you say Eastman has an even higher one then I'll definitely keep an eye on the E8D-TC! - Axel
I'm willing to agree that yamaha makes great quality instruments of all kinds. I'll never have one. That's just my bias I know. There's five or six other guitar makers I'd go with before yamaha.
Wow I really would love to visit the shop. I might have to plan a trip and just spend a whole day in there, if that is allowed, ha. Are all these rooms accessible to the public to play the guitars in? Probably a dumb question. Love all the videos and this is one of the few I remember seeing that has views of every room. Really loved this one.
Best 1 found under 2 grand IMO is the Eastman AC 422 CE.. I think it compares if not better than a Taylor 414 CE that cost double the cost of the Eastman.
More time playing and talking about the guitars, making it clear which one you are playing, and less time getting on stools and wandering around the rooms to collect the guitars would have been more helpful. At around 6:22 you stated I like this one, but it would've been nice to know which one that was. Not a very helpful video because of the confusion about what you were playing at any one time.
