    I can imagine having all of these in my childhood with my friend. I had only one friend that was good at electrical engineering, he was insipred by me, then he started working with me. I can imagine the old project we made :):):), but I almost lost all of them :(:(:(
    You reminded all my childhood😢😢

      Bloody f*ck, I actually remember building small electronic projects with similar Soviet era components when I was little in another eastern block country. Yes they were crude and unreliable components, but it brings back memories... ahh those bistable tyr or tyrystors for high voltage switching, those were some crazy days. he-he

    • @jassenjj
      @jassenjj 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The device is a simple relay for circuits with high inductive loads which require bigger gaps on disconecting. It's made in Bulgaria and translation errors like this were very common - in Bulgarian it says "контактор въздушен" which means "contactor aerial".
      I remember a small record of a famous Bulgarian singer, containing the song "My way" of Sinatra. The records factory did the translation to Bulgarian, somebody then decided to translate back to English and on the final printed cover the title of the album is "My road".

    Telephone earpieces and the silver units are carbon granule microphones. You can make an intercom by simply putting an earpiece and microphone in series, with a single AA cell providing power, and have your voice power the speaker.

    Looks very familiar. I have old components too. I believe hundred times of yours. Old components are much better made than today’s. You can’t find good quality electromechanical components even if you want to pay. That frequency meter is very reliable as the tongues are tuned to certain frequency. I really like those.

    As an Australian, I always wondered why Tesla brand is used on everything, so I checked Wikipedia...
    The company was established as Elektra on 18 January 1921 and renamed TESLA on 7 March 1946. TESLA had a state-sponsored monopoly on electronics production in Czechoslovakia, and produced nearly all electronic products in the country until 1989.

    • @alfarekord779
      @alfarekord779 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello,
      but the brand still exists and independent or even cooperating TESLA companies are still operating and some are not. An example is TESLA Blatná, a.s. where it produces parts for motor vehicles, sensors, custom electronics and mainly electronic components such as power and high-ohmic resistors, chokes and coils and optoelectronic elements (photoresistors, phototransistors, optocouplers and others...). Part of the low-power production was transferred to the VISHAY Draloric/Beyschlag brand (VISHAY Blatná, Dolní rychnov, etc., where metal oxide resistors MBB - SMA0207 or, for example, wire resistors type VISHAY AC are still produced). Also TESLA Stropkov, manufacturer of communication devices (doorbell systems, telephones...), access systems, common electrical installation material (such as sockets, switches, accessories...), industrial telephones and horns, explosion-proof telephones and horns, locks and fittings . Most of the companies formed from the original company TESLA already have a different name, for example HARLINGEN Lanškroun, ALEMA Lanškroun, ESO Ostrava, Keramické Kondenzátory Hradec Králové, ELCERAM, KRYSTALY, Kolektor Tesla Jihlava, TT Klávesnice Jihlava, ON SEMICONDUCTOR ROŽNOV, ALMETO Polná, etc., etc. Unfortunately, these companies have problems with competition. As is known, China with its mass quantity of products of very dubious quality (known not only from videos but from personal experience) has flooded the market and competes on price. It is very sad to see Czech industry and individual companies gradually die and you can't do anything about it. These are quality products and services. > Current market model: The consumer is mainly looking for a low price. All other factors come second <
      Have a nice day!

    • @johncoops6897
      @johncoops6897 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alfarekord779 - you are correct about > Current market model: The consumer is mainly looking for a low price. All other factors come second <
      We have the same thing in Australia. 60-70 years ago almost everything of high quality that we used was made in Australia. Now we have almost no local industry.
