I can hear my grandma saying “when it rains it pours honey”, having said that, what you went thru is really scary, I don’t know if I could do it.
Here in Oregon we deal with a little flooding in the animal pens in our farm and I worry so much about it, and it’s nothing crazy scary like yours, I can’t imagine if it was threatening my home.
Take care of yourself, it was just a bad season❤

That hurricane took a toll on EVERYONE in Texas!!! So many people were really blessed. It could have been so much worse. Was without power for 8 DAYS!!! Hope that is IT for the season.

😮 such crazy weather in Texas!! I’m glad your family is safe!!! My husband & I were thinking of relocating to Texas from Southern California once he retires from the navy in 2 years..the weather does sure sound scary though. 😢 we were thinking Garland/ Sachse. Any thoughts of those areas?? We definitely need to visit and scout out different areas.

I've never been there so I would definitely visit first but I think the region is good. You want to stay away from the panhandle due to tornadoes and the south due to hurricanes 😬
