Cauterize is also a good option for healing your followers if you don’t want to invest in restoration. Just be careful of their starting health and cast if before they take damage, not after
Heheeheh :) I'm testing out Vigilant for the first time. Someone suggested a Dark Souls style playthrough, with the relevant combat mods and the Ominous ENB. Not gonna lie. Made the haunted house quite terrifying.
I liked that the fire spell heals, but I think that it healed for too much. If it isn't already, I think that nerfing it would be a good idea; so you can still mainly rely on the restoration skills. :)
Oh, whenever you get into modding, balance can become a real issue. I might use a spell like this if I'm running my Mage against 2 or 3 times the usual opponents. Gotta keep me on my toes.
@naf8787 I did the master quest. Do you know what vendor sells it? I really wanted Sol Illictus but it doesn't seem like Faralda is selling it? She sells vanilla and apocalypse. Arcanum definitely seems to be working. I have the crafting table to combine tomes and some of the lower level spells.
For the Demo, I think I used the command line to give myself the required spell books. In game - it might be tied to the Destruction Master Quest, or it might be one of the arcanum spells you have to reformulate from other spell tomes. If worst comes to worse, you can also use the command line to give you a copy of the spell book. I'd recommend waiting until you've completed the master destruction questline, so at least you feel like you earned it, but that's just me :)

Maybe ... you could incorporate another mod called "Spell Research". This mod introduces immersive ways to learn magic on your own. All the spells. No College of Winterhold required. How do I get the master spells? My destruction is lvl 100, but do not see the master spells from the vendors!

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the modded user interface when I look at my spell menu? With a unique font, icons, etc?
