Intime was always 7:30 at SRM for girls hostel......this is the new hostel block...it was individual blocks when i was there... really miss the old ones...this is good as well ,more amenities and stuffs.....i passed out in 2019 ,so things were a bit different...now campus is filled with more buildings it was more open and nice before..and it was reg tag IDs until our batch

Please make a room tour video, also what would you prefer hostel or pg?
I would suggest if you would like to have some freedom like staying out late at night or not taking permission every time you go out on weekends then pg or flat is a good option. The main difference between hostel or flats/pg are that you have more responsibility there but very less restrictions as compared to hostel.

So on weekends we need permission and on week days we don’t need permission to go out ?
girls hostel itna aacha hai aur dusre taraf boys hostel bahut taklif hoti hai .

What about outing for people living in hostel here ?
If you want to go out on weekends... then warden will talk to your parents on video call and confirm where you are going and when by what time you will come back.

Seems to be nice , but this is the horrible hostel I've ever seen , firstly discrimination is there the wardens floor incharge if u r not south indian they won't help you n blame u , i am third year student for every thing u need to video call to your parents they are very disgusting n faltu don't believe this hostel plz never come to this hostel all fake .
hostel is not fake... this is what it looks like... but the management rules and the warden are very strict and sometimes veryyyyy rude and yess buddy I totally agree with you on this strictness... that's why this hostel is known as 5 star jail because of these strict rules only

See mess food is never going to meet our expectations....so it really doesn't matter if it's srm's mess or any other!
Though it is said that our M block's food is far better than all the other hostels of SRM soo uk:)

If you are asking if warden or someone will accompany you then no. You can go out with your friends just warden will video call your parents and you then you can take permission slip.

Didi I am thinking of joining srm this year and I have applied for srmjeee.. can you please tell an estimate of how much it costs to study cse per year ( including hostel and exam fees )
I am pass out . Srm btech 2016 - 2020 EEE branch . During my time college fee was 2L 15 thousands per year and hostel was 1 L per year.
Now it may be 2L 85 thousands or 3L per year college and hostel 1 L .
Expensive college .
It will cost 4 lacs per annum college fees and 1.5 lacs per annum approx hostel fees total 6.5 lacs
The hostel fees of m block per year is 2L 45 thousand (including mess food) and additional laundry fees which is optional is 8K. So it can sum upto 2L 53 thousand

How many hours will they allowed outing
On weekends we get permission till 6:30pm with parents video call and on weekdays we can stay out till 7pm only

@@dr.swatipatil8212 Chennai is usually hot. It’s better you take A/C. But it will cost extra at the same time.
