Kerima, so glad to see you again. Hang in there. Mad respect for you to continue doing these videos. Anyone shaming you for not doing whatever has no clue what your life is now. Personally I left my husband of 15 years and couldn't be happier but it's still an adjustment. Healthcare is rough too. Today I played a game with myself that I would do only basics. Put away clean dishes,Washed dishes (still in drainer), decluttered my table and put away 1 load of laundry. Rest of the house is still a hot mess. Tomorrow is another day. ❤️

About redoing your living room, I would paint all the walls with a subtle but warm color, and then do an accent wall in a bolder warm color. The light walls with the light colored couch makes the room look washed out on video. Good luck!

I came over from both Mindy and Christine's channels. Thank you for saying it had been about a month since you mopped the living room and hallways. Recently I just mopped after probably longer than that (really my daughter mopped). As women we have to juggle everything and figure out what's most important. Recently I have been going through some minor health issues and it was either to get the rest my body needed or sweep and mop. I chose rest because that was more important. However, the guilt of not keeping my house as clean as I thought it needed to be ate at me daily. Thank you for reminding me that it's okay to just do things when you can. That it is all about priorities and sometimes cleaning is not the priority.

So glad you’re back, some times life just happens and we have to take a step back to regroup. Depending on what color you choose to paint it, should give you a idea of what color you should paint the fireplace. But me I love greys and blue or black as accent colors. It’s the spin toothbrush that get the mirror dry like that, I noticed when my grandson uses his toothbrush in my bathroom.

Of course it depends on the pieces you're buying so the colors don't clash. White washing would be nice for the fire place, extending the mantel, or even stone veneers over the brick...I enjoyed you as always and loved the chat..Enjoy the rest of your week Suga
