I think you should add a maker’s mark to the bottom for two reasons. First, anyone using it should know who made it. Second, when you open the drawer you want to make sure it’s right side up.
This video captures perfectly why I love woodworking with hand tools. It's slow and peaceful. Just beautiful. And the pencil case is amazing.

@GR Woodworking I'm still trying to master dovetail joints...sometimes it gets me really frustrated but I will get it soon I know and when I do I know I'll be doing them all the time...I like making small boxes like you do...they are rewarding to make...I have to make some for myself...I keep making them for other people but the do love them...are you familiar with a Canadian woodworker name Tom Fridgen?...
