fyi over text edit .. kimichi pasta pasta .. @10:15 diving pasta ... dividing pasta ... minor but that pasta sure aint jumping off no boards into the sauce ;) ... the kimichi pasta looks great ... perhaps something red like red sweet pepped cubes ... or some quartered cherry tomatoes ... either of them raw ... would brighten the dish and add a touch of other tastes that dont appear in the rest of the dish ...

처음에 보고 와 하면서 봤는데 운전하고 어디에 가서 밥을 먹는데 우리가 아는 햄버거가 아닌 햄버거에 옛날 닭 합친게 나와서 허걱 하면서 보고 그러면서 소를 봐서 와 소다 하면서 신기하게 봤네요. 물론 그이후에도 라자냐 만드는 거 보니까 너무 먹고 싶어서 지금은 군대여서 먹고 싶은 리스트에 적고 그냥 침만 삼켰네요. 그리고 김치 파스타도 음 뭔가 별로 일 것 겉은데 만드는 레시피를 보면 음 김치가 이 정도면 맛있겠는데 생각이 들었네요. 오늘도 힐링 되는 영상 감사해요 ㅎㅎ 다음 영상들도 기대할게요 ^^

My mom used to make eggplant parmigiana all the time. I thinks it’s better then lasagna. I will have to tell her about the salting it and letting it sit for an hour so some of the moisture comes out. Cool trick.

My mother always fried the eggplant before making parmagian or lasagna. She never breaded/coated her eggplant either ... so that's how I do it. Fry, drain between sheets of paper towels to reduce the oil, then layer and bake.
same. my mom does the same. she does the salting and frying steps, but i had not seen the breaded version before.

Hello from Salento Gabie I'm envious of the freshness of the British weather! :D
Do NEVER use other oils but extra virgin olive oil when making Italian sauces (tomatoes, pestos, etc.) and when you have to fry the eggplants use again evo oil, a large amount otherwise the fried food will be drenched in oil and very heavy (more than parmigiana itself lol)! ;)
The olive oil adds extra flavour to fried things (like ie. the crocchette you learned by us in Salento).
Forgot to say that if someone doesn't like eggplants or cannot digest them you can always use zuchinis the same way.
So when I use more oil to fry eggplants it will soak less oil? Isn't it more about temperature, because she doesn't seem to use much oil?

I am so glad someone made kimchi pasta. Ever since I have moved to Australia I always thought about what you can make with Kimchi. I grew up Kimchi and I did believe Kimchi is very versatile food. I am so happy you made pasta with Kimchi~

I grew up with eggplant parmigiana. For most people, eggplant was a cheap meat substitute, presumably because of the texture. The eggplant was usually just floured before frying in my house, and there was no ham. I'm sure it's better with ham and an egg dip, but it's pretty good as a pure vegetarian dish also.
Parmigiana di melanzane is always with fried eggplants, it’s a South of Italy dish, but people know it and make it in the North as well. It’s a Italian cuisine staple dish. Most of the times it is with ham inside, if you find it without, it’s because they wanted to make a lighter parmigiana, as well as many times they make with grilled eggplants, instead of the fried ones.
Parmigiana and Lasagne look alike but they have their own identity, they love each other but they are not sisters😂😂😂

i was surprised you fried the aubergines in flour and egg, but i always fry aubergines first no matter what i use them for. salting and frying them first makes them always turn out great and never be like rubber. every restaurant in germany serves rubbery aubergines. it's a shame, people are so lazy.

I love what i eat in a days especially when i’m fasting 🤪. There’s something so satisfying also Gabie i had a question and to anyone else, what brand of kimchi is best to buy in the uk because i don’t have too much access and i’ve only had bibigo which i must say was not the best.
