another amazing and beautiful video! I have watched quite a few videos of Tequila on other channels but as usual you showed it to be even more beautiful... loved the views of the valley and the agave fields as well as the colourful colonial style buildings in the town! we have been talking about going here but my preference is to wait until we get into rainy season so we can have some slightly less hot days and more green leaves on the mountains. my girlfriend and I are not tequila drinkers but we might have to make an exception for one day. maybe the tequila ice cream only for her! congrats on completing your video list of the Pueblos Magicos in Jalisco!

Thank you so much 🙏😊 I agree, during or right after the rainy season is the perfect time to visit most of Jalisco to enjoy nature’s vibrant colors at their full intensity 💚🌿 I didn’t used to drink tequila either, always found it too strong on its own, but then I discovered the reposado & añejo variations, as well as some flavored ones - coffee flavor is delicious ☺️ I think you’d like cantaritos; they’re not strong at all and the citrus flavor is refreshing 🍋🍋

hey Clau, so I sort of got to Tequila last weekend, but I'm not officially crossing it off my list yet. a friend of my girlfriend works in the tequila industry and he arranged tours for us at a couple different distilleries. the first one was El Castillo de Tequila which is actually very close to GDL, before you even get to El Arenal on the Hwy 15 (libre). and then the 2nd one was La Cofradia... which you sort of just go inside the city limits of Tequila and then out again 5 minutes later to arrive at. we also had dinner in the underground restaurant. it was ok... something cool you can say you did. I am kind of claustrophobic and dont enjoy being in places where there is no air movement. I really liked the landscapes out that way with volcanic mountains and the deep valley. everything was lush green but the day was mostly cloudy so not good for pics and video. we didnt take any time to stop to enjoy any of the views, just what we could see while driving. and then we got stuck in the terrible traffic jams coming back to the city Sunday evening, think it took us 2.5 hours. so anyways, I wont cross Tequila off my list until I actually sit in the main plaza and stay overnight.

Hi friend 😊 That’s great and I agree, I only crossed Tequila off my list after the 3rd visit, and I’m certain we’ll be back for more. Last time we went, we actually stopped at El Castillo, but weren’t able to get in, it was too early in the day; poor planning on my part 🫣 La Cofradía is nice, would like to stay in one of their barrel rooms. Has their bar re-open? It has beautiful views of the agave fields. Traffic is so crazy returning to the city on the weekends… we try to avoid it as much as possible.

@@ClauChasesColors by the bar I think you mean the building with a deck just beside the parking lot? if so then yes. that is where we checked in and waited for our tour. many people were asking them to open the one barrel room thats right beside the road so they could look inside. I didnt bother looking myself. it seems to me like they would get very hot during the day. and as for the traffic, that is why we stayed 3 nights in Tepatitlan so we could drive back Monday around noon. our plan worked but we were lucky - the lanes going the other way were completely jammed because there was construction that had one lane closed...
