Honestly love the Beatles and eagles ZZ top all great bands and concerts . The greatest band ever is matter of opinion and everyone has one , I am sure some people would say that the q Greatest band ever was Queen . But all of the band's mentioned are acts of past you need to discover the next great music act or band. For me that is the struts and all I can say is they are awesome
I wouldn't consider The Stones a straight Rock N' Roll band. They've done everything from Pop, Disco, Country, and Reggae. Straight ahead greatest Rock N' Roll band I think would be AC/DC.
My wife and I saw the Rolling Stones in December of 1989 at the SkyDome in Toronto, Start me up was the first song at that time too. The Stones are every bit as dynamic today as in 1989 . Thanks for your excellent video.
In the 70's, 80's and 90's, that floor would have been a mass of writhing bodies. Now, somehow standing still and recording what you are seeing on your phone, never to be watched again, is more important than being in the moment. What a weird world. Band sound good though.
Except back in the day no one was allowed to bring in recording devices anyway. Having said that, I kept the phone in my pocket and lived in the moment last night, knowing someone else is recording it for my enjoyment later.
Argentinean audiences (Brazil, Mexico, and most of South America) both record and still jump/dance. USA and some Europe audiences seem to have forgotten how to enjoy concerts.
Saw them twice, once in "Bridges.." tour and this time. Yes, Keith and Ronnie are visibly past their prime and were out of touch at moments. Keith's singing wasn't memorable. Charlie died and Bill left the band. Sound was unclear at times, guitars too loud and drums undefined. Only Mick is his old best self. Having said that, the atmoshpere was great, they did the best they could, backing mnusicians did help a lot. And for us fans, it was a great show, we toned down our expectations and came to enjoy the moment, remember our younger days with rock legends we love and respect so much. Would go again tomorrow in a heartbeat.
As good as the stones may have been back in their prime this is not thier best performance. It's time to let them retire. If you have never seen them pick a tour date get a ticket and go. But if you have seen them before save the money and get an older stones concert on dvd my mom saw them in teen years it was her second concert she attended the first concert she saw was the Beatles
I was there and they made this grown man cry!
Same! 🎉
Me to brother ❤
Greatest band in rock n roll history!
Uh no dummy. That would be the beatles hands down!
@@gregorymcgilvray2995 LOL! Beatles stayed together for 8 years. And their solo music ranged from religious chants to nursery rhymes.

Was both nights in Chicago last weekend!
I was at Thursday night!

It's all about recording it, not enjoying the experience. 😅

The stones should not have allowed cameras in the stadiums. Other artists have done that over the years, and the stones are certainly rebels…

I think it's just cause that's the first song. I doubt they record more than like 10% of the show...
I Flew In From Edmonton Alberta. That Was My 25th Show And My 9Th Stones Tour Since Voodoo Lounge.
THEY Blew The Roof Off BC Place
That's dedication
i've been to over 40, only 3 Rolling Stones shows though.

Running out of steam.
@martinone9 Says the guy who wasn't there. Keep streaming Taylor.
Okay boomer.
They're 80 years old lol how much "steam" do you expect? get a grip. It was a fantastic show.
@@Atomic88Thrash 😂 true. I saw them in 1981 and I thought they were old then! 😁

Old men playing old songs.
Dull crowd of Vancouver again.
Just give it up and retire. Backing tracks. Kieth or Ronny are not playing. Its a complete joke. Enjoy your $800.00 Karaoke.
Stay at home.
@@silverflyer5003 apparently I did. I dont have short comings like others. Good in the 80s, horendous now.
@@anthonyriviello5942 Fair enough.
You may not like it and that's fine, but you have no clue who's playing what, that much is certain.
Same old song
look forward to hearing your classic song you wrote and performed, still being loved in 40 years time
Then don't stop here and listen.
@vincenzostr4488 Yeah, I can't go to the shows in person, either.
@@TheJewellian they are the worst garage band in the world and you still listen to them
Same old loser posting. Loser, loser!😅
its just boring.
Crowd? Yes!
