Very nice work. What is the idea behind the saddle making on notches? Its not traditionally made like that here in Finland.

Thanks. The idea behind this notch is that it is a better suited technique for full scribing fresh logs. It is easier to create the space above the notch so that the log can slide lower over the saddle when shrinking.
