The wonderful Fassbaender! And so supportive and understanding of the singers - not always the case in these 'celebrity' masterclasses! (No names, no pack drill!) (A lapel/radio microphone would have afforded Fassbaender more freedom from a hand-held mic.)
Glorious exciting teacher and great great singer. Her recitals were for me the most exciting of any singer. First that voice, so intense, beautiful, always, intensely musical. I wish I had been born earlier so I could have heard, experienced her art more.
Hello, yes I did, we met at Cardiff singer competition, where she has chosen me out of other competitors to participate in her open masterclass, and after that for a few years I came time to time to Innsbruck to study with her.
Alice Usher, wonderful voice. The longer she sings, the more lovely the tone gets.
