I studied US Constitutional Law in Law School. *We will NOT ditch our constitution.* We'll close up the loopholes that even the likes of players in every party have exploited. We'll do that. No! We will NOT ditch our U.S. Constitution (just sew up the loopholes and strengthen and clean out the Supreme Court and lower Courts of political appointment acting in *bad faith.* I think parts of the reading are accurate, I think the *Justic Card on the bottom of the deck,* says it all. It’s mind boggling how many people don’t take the time to educate themselves. I absolutely love how you speak to the truth of what’s going on here in the US and you live halfway around the world. You’re correct about how this country affects the world. Unfortunately the ego of the leaders of this country have become oblivious to anything other than their own interests. We had a reprieve when President Obama was in office. The government was functioning in a more benevolent manner. I was a constitutional political science major in college. Yes, it is tainted by white male patriarchy however the elements such as “the social contract” and the fundamental principle that the government exists FOR the people and by the people. That is embedded in the text. I also studied the documents that were the resource for the final draft consisting of two main political influencers, Hobbes & Locke. One believed that without government human nature is benevolent and humanity would form its own self sustaining communities. The other believed that humans were predatory and without ethics and needed to be reigned in. Polar opposites. The alchemy of the constitution was to strike a chord in the middle. One of my favorite contributors, Ben Franklin, injected much of the more humane and egalitarian themes found in the text.

So refreshing to hear this reading, I agree 100% -- there's too many loopholes in the current judicial system. I remember over 20 years ago, my uncle from Canada said it would not be his preference to live in U.S. because the money has too much power and that it's not as equitable as Canadian law which is based on Common law.
He has already started asking for the senate to allow him to bypass the vote so he can just appoint. That was yesterday. It would require that they call a break and then he can make “urgent” appointments. I haven’t heard if that will happen or not

It’s mind boggling how many people don’t take the time to educate themselves. I absolutely love how you speak to the truth of what’s going on here in the US and you live halfway around the world. You’re correct about how this country affects the world. Unfortunately the ego of the leaders of this country have become oblivious to anything other than their own interests. The common people have become complacent yet they are angry about the failures of government to keep them protected from poverty, to provide affordable healthcare, to give children a better than adequate education and so many more issues. We had a reprieve when President Obama was in office. The government was functioning in a more benevolent manner. (Not perfectly) I don’t know that if it’s because he is an educated eloquent black man, the “Right wing” couldn’t accept his accomplishments and it sent them further into their extremism. Now we are in this tumultuous time between. We must continue to hold the light, stand in our sovereignty and believe that there is a divine plan.

I was a constitutional political science major in college. Yes, it is tainted by white male patriarchy however the elements such as “the social contract” and the fundamental principle that the government exists FOR the people and by the people. That is embedded in the text. I also studied the documents that were the resource for the final draft consisting of two main political influencers, Hobbes & Locke. One believed that without government human nature is benevolent and humanity would form its own self sustaining communities. The other believed that humans were predatory and without ethics and needed to be reigned in. Polar opposites. The alchemy of the constitution was to strike a chord in the middle. One of my favorite contributors, Ben Franklin, injected much of the more humane and egalitarian themes found in the text.

So refreshing to hear this reading, I agree 100% -- there's too many loopholes in the current judicial system. I remember over 20 years ago, my uncle from Canada said it would not be his preference to live in U.S. because the money has too much power and that it's not as equitable as Canadian law which is based on Common law.

I had foreseen many years ago a Constitution not only for the U.S. but one for a whole new world order built on Democracy with a reimagined resourced based economy . I thought I was bonkers in 1979 but I have watched and concluded perhaps all that I experienced wasn’t just my imagination I’m still reluctant with my acceptance because it entailed much turmoil as well. The reading make me think of the Mayan calendar.December 21 2012 started the sixth long-count cycle. The cycle is to be one of fire and hunger. It's been awhile since I read up on the interpretations, but what I remember is that, although the cycle will be dark, the people willl eventually reach an enlightened state. As each long-count cycle is thousands of years, I hope it does not mean that we will be in darkness for a long time.

American seem to talk about Magna Carta as it was used as a starting point for their Constitution…..Magna Carta was written and rewritten a few times as the situation changed. King John was known for Not Keeping His Word and the Barrons needed to double down ( as Americans would say). Maybe time for new understandings and the movement, also this is why Britain does not have a written Constitution but over 1,000 years of laws and continuity.
