One thing to note about the patterns included in Sew magazine is to check the size band on the front of the envelope. Whilst the back of the envelope will show the whole size range, more often than not with Sew they only include the smaller band, which is usually size 6-14.
I do have covers for all of my machines to keep them as free as can from dust and fluff while not in use. Thank you for theses Vlogs I love the magazine reviews.

I haven't made covers for my machines - one had a cover so it doesn't need it imho... the other two may need a cover to protect them from dust perhaps. Personally I like Sew mag because they are generous in their website : they let you try the free patterns (fabric's so expensive these days that every little helps when you have run out of 'sheets' to try patterns out). I have gotten lucky before! Hope I can find an issue of Love Sewing or Simply Sewing. That boat neckline dress in Love Sewing is so cute! 😍

I haven’t made covers for my sewing machines. My Bernina came with a cover. Enjoyed your look into the magazines I just wish we could get them in Cape Town.
I find this really helpful as I can never see what's in these mags in the plastic wrap in the shops. And I appreciate your honesty. I don't sew constantly and must admit my overlocker sits on a desk next to a window so I drape an old pillow case over it to stop the threads from fading :) Maybe it's time I made a cover!

I love these unwrapping videos! I wish I could get these magazines in the US. I try too find them and sometimes I get lucky on eBay.
