I am looking forward to seeing the one that you choose. Ember will love you so much. Plus her older siblings will be watching over her from the rainbow bridge in doggy heaven.n Sara and Kate will always be remembered forever and never forgotten.
This was a large litter. 5 males and 6 females. I wanted to get there early to spend a day or more just observing the litter together and then just the females together. I would walk around to see which ones were drawn to me. I would then interact and handle each female individually to gage how they reacted to me. I paid attention to their level of activity, their alertness, their focus and their independence and if they were bullies or submissive. After having dogs and training them most of my adult life, I knew what I was looking for, I just had to put the group of females thru the tasks to pick the one I felt was the right one for me and my future plans with that pup for the next 14+ yrs. of "our lives."
@@doggonervn211 does birth order matter? I want happy go lucky..so I think in the middle of the birth order..and yes I see bully behavior when I observe litters..good to know what that behavior is..I do not like ….thank you for your replies…your videos on vestibular helped me with my dachshund while she went thru that ..Happy Travels
