We bought a new home TV last September and was a LG OLED that has twice gone wrong with burnt out pixels and white screen. At Christmas I decided to get this TV but the 55 inch version for the mancave . All I can say is love it. My good lady has now decided to swap the house TV from the LG to the 65 inch of this.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Seeing the screen shot reminded me of my son helping me unbox my 85' Sony. I'm still trying to get used to it in my living room 😳 I put Philips Hue lights around it with a sound bar and subwoofer, now we have family movie nights together ❤ life is good.
I can see the professionalism these two Guys did to install this Beast. Mine is a Sony 55" 4K Tv. ( been Using it for 6 Years Now ) and The Rear Mounting can let the Tv Swing to almost any Angle Left to Right ( if necessary ). 65" is just the Right size if Budget is tight. When playing Music Videos, I only use it for monitor while I route the AUDIO to my Sound Mixer through the Headphone Jack.
Just bought one of these that size. And I can tell you....nothing prepares you for the sheer size and bemusement of how you are going to get thing on the wall without damaging it. I had a 4K 65inch before but this is on another level. It took three of us in the end but it was a bit sketchy at first securing it on the bracket
I don't know about everyone else but I just get the best feeling when ur dad is helping u un box something like this. I enjoy these two doing team work.
the most amazing thing is the old man, maybe he is your father, how happy he is from inside and helping his son in the installation joyfully and whole heartedly.
I know the TV is high up, it was at the customers request due to the fireplace. If it was me I'd remove the fireplace. To be fair though the seats are approximately 7 meters away so it was quite comfortable to view.
Yea i agree the tv is a tad bit to high given the circumstances, but the tilt wall mount is definitely your best option in this particular instance. Great job though with the install.
It's definitely nerve rattling..I put my 82 in samsung up on the wall and then a week later took it back down to add led lights...trust me ..isn't fun ..Def a 3rd person is ideal ... definitely get everything done and installed that u want to it so u don't have to take it back down

I am so close to be able to afford a bigger place so I can finally have a proper home theater! I just got a 65 inch OLED for my small place for now. Once I upgrade my place I’m definitely getting an 85 inch for the basement and also upgrading my surround sound to bigger speakers!!!

Hey beware.. some of these tvs do not have the screen protector and there's been people damaging there tvs by taking off part of the screen that u don't suppose to remove..my 82 inch didn't come with any protector only the side pieces ..so make sure before u start peeling. Lol
Says who? The whole idea of having a TV up on a wall is to have it as a feature. Having it up high like that is fine as long as you’re seated/standing at a decent distance.
Cesar Neri is correct. If it's too high then long term use will result in neck pain and discomfort. How do I know? I'm a spine doctor and I have this tv (except the US version does not have the one connect. Damn I wish I had the one connect!). Currently, it is slightly above eye level at my house. I want to wall mount it with a linear fireplace (low height) underneath, but have to make sure it is not too high (there needs to be space for the soundbar between the tv and fireplace). Mounting a tv above a fireplace is a nice design look but that does not necessarily make it practical. I have another tv (50 inch) mounted above a fireplace, and some people cannot watch it for more than 30 minutes.
Can a modern smart TV be used with a simple TV aerial ? The reason I ask .. our bedroom TV stopped working yesterday and my wife went MAD. I suggested taking our Sony TV from the lounge but there was no option of selecting the input source to the aerial .. only HDMI or SCART options. Of course, I GOT THE BLAME I don't want to be buying a new TV and find I can't connect it to the aerial
Yes it should be able to be used with a standard aerial. If the smart stuff is out of date you can add an amazon firestick. I know what you mean about getting the blame lol

I personally like the aesthetics of a television over the fireplace. So, that is how it works out. For many years I had mine over my fireplace, but had to locate my new television beside my fireplace because of hight issues. When mounting the new television, I placed a table on the wall that I planed on using, and measured from there. If you are thinking of lower. Many tables are not that low, and remember that humans and animals move around in these boxes we call houses, and a television that low, without a table, or something as a buffer zone, can be hit. These are not the tough glass crt televisions, glass screens with crack easier, and mat screens with get scuffs if they are impacted at the minimum.
I would atleast hookup the oneconnect cable before putting into the wall to see if the tv is working fine. I would also just leave the cable connected while mounting the tv so that I dont have to do 7:02 to 7:25

I know it's a lot of money (to most) but my wife and I spend a lot of time in the movie/game room. Totally worth it to me.

Hi Dan, I just bought a 75" Q60t from samsung and I noticed a plastic film on the screen that I don't know if I should remove it beacuse the manual does not say anything about it, and that are no stickers signaling to remove it. Now, it seems like this was meant to be there to reduce glare, I'm really not sure, but what do you think I should do? I saw you removing the plastic on this video quite easily but the one on mine seem very difficult to get a grip on and take it off. Even the reps at samsung aren't sure if I should take it off or not.

The Q95T model was not available in the USA,had to settled for the Q90T which doesn't come with the one connect box.

Most people don’t. You gotta remember this TV is an 85” and the height of it will go up pretty high.

It’s a big tv. Watching it in front of you going to be an eyesore and neck pain.
There was a chimney under it, also, it's 85 inches, it has to be on the ground if you want it to be just in front of you.
I personally like the aesthetics of a television over the fireplace. So, that is how it works out. For many years I had mine over my fireplace, but had to locate my new television beside my fireplace because of hight issues. When mounting the new television, I placed a table on the wall that I planed on using, and measured from there.
If you are thinking of lower. Many tables are not that low, and remember that humans and animals move around in these boxes we call houses, and a television that low, without a table, or something as a buffer zone, can be hit. These are not the tough glass crt televisions, glass screens with crack easier, and mat screens with get scuffs if they are impacted at the minimum.
I would atleast hookup the oneconnect cable before putting into the wall to see if the tv is working fine. I would also just leave the cable connected while mounting the tv so that I dont have to do 7:02 to 7:25

Yo tengo una de 65 más marca barata jvc. Recomiendo es muy linda. Pague 700 dólares. Del mismo tamaño en lg Samsung o Sony salen unos 2500 dólares para arriba. Saludos desde Uruguay

I installed it for a customer but so far so good
I have one. Its fantastic. Had it for 2 months or so. Only issue I think will be if I move. It's hard to move around, obviously.

@@MiniEggs1999 spectacular. It was weird. For like the first week, it was such a big change nothing looked the same. I couldn't (and still can't) believe the difference. You wont be disappointed. I know it's a lot of money (to most) but my wife and I spend a lot of time in the movie/game room. Totally worth it to me.

Pra uma tela desse tamanho é preciso uma distância de no mínimo 5 metros pra colocar o sofá ou a cama, senão não se tem a percepção real do verdadeiro tamanho da TV!

Should people not never in a 8K tv as they already out ? Won’t the 4K tv look outdated once more 8k TVs are out ? I have a 4K tv and looking to get a bigger screen but should I aim for a 8K tv for the future ?

Hi Dan, I just bought a 75" Q60t from samsung and I noticed a plastic film on the screen that I don't know if I should remove it beacuse the manual does not say anything about it, and that are no stickers signaling to remove it. Now, it seems like this was meant to be there to reduce glare, I'm really not sure, but what do you think I should do? I saw you removing the plastic on this video quite easily but the one on mine seem very difficult to get a grip on and take it off. Even the reps at samsung aren't sure if I should take it off or not.
Don't take it off. It's the top layer of the screen. If you see my Q60T video it doesn't have a plastic film.

The tabs on the bottom allow you to lift the box off the TV
Undo the tabs on the 85s and the box comes apart in 2 halfs
