    I recently decided to NOT buy the Entegra Esteem 29V Class C after taking it for a test drive at the dealership. It was a short drive but it only took a couple miles to realize how horrible of a driving experience it was. I could not imagine driving it cross country for many hours at a time! This is a brand new coach with the so called EZ-Ride suspension upgrade. This coach was all over the road and took constant inputs to keep in in the lane! It was just so unacceptable for me at the price of a new 2022 rig. Your video is proof positive that the manufacturers are NOT doing enough to prepare these coaches for a good driving experience. Having to spend another $8000 after spending $150,000 is just unacceptable. Glad you folks came up with a solution for those who already bought and need this. As for me, I lost my taste for the Class C. Great video.

    I have been driving the motorhome mentioned above for over a year and wanted to give an update. After I had installed the "band aids" the handling improved but still had clearance issues. The sumo and timbren springs along with the trac bar stopped the rv from blowing over after being passed by big trucks but I was still not satisfied with the clearance. The 6 inch lift kit solved the issues I continued to have. I kept the sumo and timbren springs. WeldTec removed the trac bar but I re installed it myself. One thing I had not mentioned before is that when I arrived to TX from CA after having the kit installed, I was missing a bolt on the front sway bar and a nut on the link that attaches the sway bar to the I beams. I have since replaced the missing bolt and nut. Check the hardware after you get home. I am very satisfied with the kit and highly recommend it to anyone with a class c rv.

    I had the 6 inch kit installed in April of last year. My rig is an Entregra 30X that I bought new in September. The ride was terrible, and I drug bottom at every gas station.
    The crew at weld tech was great and did a fantastic job.
    The ride difference after the install was well worth the cost. Before I held on with two hands, after I could drive with two fingers! And after 15,000 miles I have not bottomed out once. The ride is very stable and I highly recommend the kit.

    I have doen pretty much all of that to my rig. I have basically the same setup in a Forest River forester. You did a Sunseeker a year or so ago and mine is the exact copy of it. Anyway, I can say the Sumo's did help somewhat as well as the other items for sway, etc. That being said, the rear ride isn't any better. My leaf's are massively overloaded, even with the 8 helper springs Forest River added. My Sumo's on the rear bolt to the top of the leafs and the side of the frame and I can say did help. That being said, only so much that you can do.
    I like your kits and want to get one. Probably will do the 6" but need to figure out the step. My unit, like the Sunseeker, has the drop step built into the side. If I can add a power step below it I am fine. If not then I need to figure something out. I also really like the bumpers though I like this front one a little more. Your rear bumper fits my needs great though. Either way, once I can get to this point i'll let you know as I think this kit will be the final resolution to getting y RV the way I want it.

    Ok I bought a used 2016 31' Forest River Forester. It already had air bags in the rear. I did the front end upgrades that you did except for the lift and I did use the Bilstein shocks. On the rear I put Bilstein shocks and did no modifications to the leaf springs and I had an alignment done. I noticed an improvement in the steering and handling over all. BUT, every time my tires go over an imperfection on the road it bangs so loud it scares the shit out of me. I swear if I ran over a shadow it would make this noise. I'm running 80 lbs in the tires, someone suggested I should lower my tire pressure. I am frustrated as hell.

    Experts - I recently bought a 03 20' Born Free RV E350 super duty that has a 4x4 conversion w/410 gears. It has 265/75/16's w/a spacer between the duallys.. can I leave the 265's up front for their 10.43" width, but then put 235 85 16's on the rear so I can delete the spacers? They are very similar in diameter, but 9.25" W. the 265's would roll 1.58 more revolutions per mile than the 235 rears. Just wondering about transmission damage over time, especially if in 4wheel drive?

    Have the safe-t plus stabilizer and front sumo springs. Ride is good and sumo helped a bit and added about an inch. I will be talking to a local company in Tacoma WA about installing your 6 inch kit. Assume if they are reputable and work on commercial vehicles installing your kit should not be an issue for them. Also assume you have techs available so they can get any questions answered?

    I have the same rig; all these upgrades are done by the manufacturer. This package is called Jride. Will I notice a improvement in handling and overall ride with your 2" lift?
    I've been wanting to purchase the 2" lift kit so I can bolt it on myself. I'm hoping to purchase one size up in tires shooting for about 3" total increase in height. Does the 2" kit require any welding?

    • @WeldtecDesigns
      @WeldtecDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      YOUR DUMB>>>> LOL ... yes you are correct that the axle stays at the same height but now WITH the lift kit you can run a larger tire which now increase the clearance between the ground and axle....... With better springs and shocks your going to get a better ride, but who would want that in an rv! I bought an rv because my wife wouldn't let me buy a boat... Lucky for me I still feel like im in a boat when driving the RV...... LMAO
