I felt so embarrassed 😅 I was like “are you sure this isn’t a cover?” In my head I could have sworn the drummer had long hair. I feel the record should show that I came there for days n daze. But these guys were a party and loved them just as much!
This song is such a beautiful distillation of the wonderful high and schizoid paranoia that it feels like when i hear it Im high as fuck and weirded out and wanna get out of this place and go to a new scene, but i never actually make it there because im busy being high as fuck tripping over my own thoughts about the current situation So i spend 8 hours talking about how im too high and need to get out of here but this place turns out to be the safest bunker i have for the moment. It always is. DONT LET ME OUT OF YOUR BASEMENT
