So glad I found this channel. Started watching a couple months ago and I've already bought evolution, forbidden desert, coconuts, loony quest and karuba. Looks like deep sea adventure will be the next game on my list.
I first saw this here. I've bought and played the game and enjoy it with the family. I love the design and compact size. I liked the game so much I did a Lego version. If any of you are Lego fans and Lego Ideas users, please check it out and vote if you like it. If any in your group are Star Wars fans, could you do a video for Rebellion(not sure on the play time though)? Looking forward to more reviews.
It looks like you could easily do variations in gameplay. One that might be fun would be to have the values shown so you know how you're doing all the time, and you'd probably be tempted to go deeper for the bigger numbers. Another might be to place tokens that have a score of 1 or more (I.e. no zeroes), and lay them out in number order going down so you're rewarded the deeper you go. Or pick-up either only on the way down, or only on the way back up, or just pick up 1 token at the point you decide to go back up and that's your score that round. Or you could change to two d6s or add a d6 to the game dice to make it easier. A good one for house rules! A clever, simple design. :-)
At 11:00 you forgot to take Nikki's oxygen level down 1. She would have never made it back that round if you had of done that. OOPS! Maybe we still don't tell her and make her think she won the game legit. =P Great video!
I don't realy get the oxygen thing. When do you spend it and how do you know if it's 1, 2 or more? Just bought the game and it's a very fun one. Just don't realy get the oxygen rule. You guys are awesome by the way!
You played this on a live stream a while ago and I'm sure someone said there was a rule that you can't go up unless you've picked something up. Is that right and you guys just forgot it in the rules intro or was it wrongly said during the live stream (I think it was Rusty who said it)?
+Toomfath The main mechanic to win is rolling, ending on a tile and getting its points. Obviously there are so many differences as well but I'd say the backbone is the same actually...
Played this game many times with friends and colleagues. Fun every time. Quick to teach, quick to play and easy to bring along.

Lovely little game. Enjoy having Mark on the show, he's always a great addition. Wish he was on more often.
Nice play through guys. I’ll be buying this.
Really helpful playthrough, thanks. Subscribed.
Charming little game! Thanks.
It's a simple game but I honestly think it's a simple game but done right :) Thanks for the gameplay :D
Nice video. Started about a couple of months ago, and just got through all three seasons. I love this series, and look forward to more!

Looks fun

I saw the "free Willy" comment coming from about five hundred nautical miles away. :D

Wonderful
That Mark Johnson makes me ***swooon***
Very cool mechanics in this game working against each other....very interesting.

No, he didn't forget, he totally did it. Plus, Nikki didn't win, Mark did. :)
Man, I wanted to grab this game, but it's seriously expensive for a little dice game!
Just picked this up this week at Target for $10. YMMV
I found it on clearance for $10 at my Target as well - just three days ago.
neat little game
I love this show! It's great to watch you playing. Will you make a game night on Arboretum?

Now I know. But what if you have 3 tokens and roll 3?
@@MM-jr5sr you remain in place, can't move on that turn
Quick maths at 8:29

Has anyone tried this cooperatively, just working together to get as high of a combined score as possible?
That sounds interesting!-Lincoln
I thought it was competitive?
@@xshadowscreamx Oops... I meant "cooperatively". Edited.
Do you guys take game requests?
i cant find where to make a request :(
thanks thanks
Again? Oh... wait... =P
What about the similarities with the game "that's life"?
I see a lot of that game in this one, even though the may be different in some aspects.

Are lincoln and nikki married?
