I know this may sound heretical, but I recently ate at Willie Mae’s chicken in New Orleans based on your recommendation and found it to taste similar to Plaza Inn Chicken! And I liked Plaza Inn a little more because the one at Willie Mae’s was a little under salted for me.
Sorry it didn't live up to the hype for you. Did you go to the original location or the food hall? Nothing wrong with Plaza Inn chicken, it's tasty too.
