I really never gave them a shot til lately and now I don’t know why really love them hope to have that experience with snow soon greetings from East Tennessee
The music of The Sky Will Turn makes me think of an Alice in Wonderland gothik nightmare, where I hurt breaking a colourful window of candle sugar of a house in the woods, I start bleeding, but my blood tastes of strawberry juice. Then I see some strawberries in the garden of the house, I eat one, but it tastes of blood.
This is absolutely beautiful. The Birthday Massacre never disappoints, honestly. Lyrically, sonically. It just is all so stunning. They make music that my soul just completely bonds with. Thank you TBM, I love you all. Thank you for the inspiration, the healing I've gotten through the music, the joy I've found through it too. I'm so excited to hear the full album (as usual haha) 💜🖤
I listen TBM since 11 years and every time I listen them is just for tje first time! This song is simply wonderful and emotional such theyr own style! Is in a new singol or in a new album??
I became a fan of alternative music 30 years ago listening to amazing female-led bands like Lush, Curve and My Bloody Valentine. Birthday Massacre has picked up the torch and ran with it. I love them for it.
I am just very thankful that they are still around and are still producing the same high calibur of music that I liked them for in the first place. I never imagined whenever I discovered them in 2006 that they would still be a thing in 2020. Most of the other artists I listened to from that time period are either long gone or far past their prime. They are probably one of the most consistent bands ever as far as the quality of their music goes.
Yeah, me too. I'm a DJ at a weekly goth night here in Cincinnati so I 'm around it all the time. As for Chibi. I've met her a couple times and she's super sweet and humble. A really kind soul. The rest of the band is very nice and approachable. They're all really good people.
This is one of those bands that I just love their sound so much, I don't ever want them to change it to much, this is why all of their albums are perfect
Djura Rodríguez They're amazing too cause you can hear the progression and what not through all the albums having their own unique sound but still maintaining that core dark and blissful sound.
Holy FUCK! This makes my skin tingle... This song is AMAZING! I canNOT wait to hear the album in it's entirety. Like a fine wine... TBM just gets better with age. So excited for you guys.... THEE best musical group for me. Forever TBM💜

Your images are unbelievable deep. Only you can describe something so evil with so haunting beauty. You really are an inspiration, as some say here, to heal old wounds and to dream with a world that hardly could we previously dream about. Blessings to you!
It's so haunting! I love Chibi's cadence, and the thudding bassline, and the guitar accentuation at the end of the lines. And Chibi's writing is so poetic! First impressions, I'm getting themes of feeling trapped and putting on a brave face. Can't wait to hear it in the context of the full album! My favourite line is "if there's a full moon breaking, it's painting our faces" so evocative! And the artwork we've seen from Diamonds so far is so pretty! Great work TBM!
violetwitch Yes, it’s still the same kind of sound we know and love but something is still different about it too! Every album there seems to be a slight shift, but always in a good way!
The reason her vocals changed is because she has had a vocal sickness for a long time now, it comes and goes but every album that is finished she needs to take a break.
Back in the late 90s early 2000s I was big time into the Detroit Industrial/ Goth scene. I remember TBM being played at City Club. I was in a band at that time and had hoped to do some shows with TBM. It never happened and my band dispersed around 2005. We did some shows with VNV Nation, Covenant, Icon of Coil, Melotron, Das Ich, Clan of Xymox.... but I always wanted to do a show with TBM! I had heard they were really down to earth and good people. Anyway, it's 2020, I am 47 years old and many years removed from the music scene. I now work in the medical field. I rediscovered TBM a few years ago and was impressed with their consistently good material over the years and growth as musicians. Cheers to TBM! I'm happy to hear you are still making great music that a lot of people appreciate.
TBM's music always gives me goosebumps and an energy that is unbelievable and hard to put to words. Their musical sound elevates me to the cosmos and beyond!!!!

The music is breathtaking and certainly out-of-this world. It makes me feel like I can soar across space-time observing all of those majestic-looking galaxies.
It astounds me that even to this day, TBM isn't as well known as I feel they should be. I've been listening to their music since 2005 when Violet came out and I've been a die-hard of their style ever since. I have yet to find another band that sounds even remotely like this.
Been a big TBM fan many years and their sound is very unique, it actually does sound violet! 🙂 This album is amazing, made them first on my last.fm cause I have listened to it like thousand times, it's that good! Their music is a magical journey into a violet dreamworld, this album proves that.

Such a beautiful song and poetic lyrics , every single song they have made are awesome. My the only complaint is we need more songs, I cant wait for March!!
This is why Birthday Massacre has been one of my favorite bands ever to have existed, their style and passion has not wavered throughout the years. They are as beautiful as ever.
And to think I first heard them on a Goth Compilation, in 2007? With each new record, the production values and maturity of these guys as artists just keeps building and getting better. I finally caught them in LA for the last tour and now I'll never miss a show. My only complaint: Why isn't there a 5-6 minute extended remix of Shiver? Easily in my top 5 and at 3 minutes, it's just a tease. And you're the only band to even come close to Curve. Thank you for that.
There is something about sitting at home, working on a cold winter night, listening to BIRTHDAY MASSACRE while it is snowing outside...

Melhor banda do universo 💜😍
I love the birthday massacre so much. they are such an amazing band.
Didn't like the rest of the album at all. But this song I just can't get enough of.
Just discovered the band yesterday.
This has a Wonderful Late 80s Rock influence to it 🔥
The opening instrumental strongly reminds me of “burn away”. I love it!
Such a beautiful song and poetic lyrics , every single song they have made are awesome. My the only complaint is we need more songs, I cant wait for March!!

Love them so much! Been my favorite band for the longest time ❤️

Throwback to the Walking With Strangers sound, particularly the song "Goodnight". Thank goodness
Can’t wait for the album and hopefully concerts in uk

This song is amazing. The chorus owns
