Hit too close to home. We had a string of five tornado touchdowns in Lansing, MI a few weeks ago, and I was in my garage with all my tools out when the siren hit haha.
Man, we had "wild rhubarb" not planted. Rhubarb pie all the time, also wild asparagus across the road from us. Dandelion wine and walnuts off the walnut tree. Maple syrup from the maple trees. Sweet corn from the field across the street. My grandmother did that once. Lol.
Never did that one, but I did learn that if I moved my car up until it bumped the beer fridge we could squeeze 1.7 cars into our one car garage, so that all the windows of the lady's car were under cover before the hail came.
As a WI transplant from CA (I came out here originally for grad school 15 years ago, so don't yell at me!), this is very helpful. My favorite installment so far, released on my birthday. Well done all! Freakin' love it here (mostly...).
Forgot the KwikTrip Decathalon where you have to visit 10 KTs within a 2 sq mi area and purchase various items or complete activities, like scratchers, nightcrawlers, door holding, etc...
Hold on, the Commission removed the "Eating the fried cheese curds while they're still way too hot but they just keep trying to breathe through the pain and not drink any liquids" event? I really hope they aren't getting rid of the "Dodging untrimmed low-hanging branches while on that one Snowmobile trail outside of Minocqua" in the Winter Olympic events.
Watching the Grass Grow while drinking...while training in Georgia, me and a buddy would see two guys training for the Southern equivalent. Sitting on the hood of their car watching traffic go by...while drinking.
Then there's the snagging the caught fish in a net while holding the pole in the other hand while not tipping over the canoe. "Many have tried?" "No, many have died."

Where do I sign up for pole untanglin? I have 8 kids and 30 poles..... every gosh darn time I go to the garage to grab a couple two tree I have to fix 'em because the boys "were bored and went to the crick", ya know instead of doin chores. I got the golden lager medal in the bag for that event!
This was better than watching the actual Olympics! I tried watching the mountain biking and the 3 on 3 basketball and the ..what was it...surfing and skateboarding? . I mean...come on now!
