Right. Ive said a thousand times that the EMT's are every bit ir worse than the Cops. They supposedly go into that job to help people and they think nothing of standing there enabling the pigs.
Yea it depends on the city/county, some have their own emt's as part of the FD, and some contract out to a 3rd party companies or hospital system. Having worked police adjacent around many departments in my area, my experience was that emt's who were employed by the city through the FD were far too cozy with the cops and had issues like this, while the 3rd party techs were much more professional and reliable for the patients care - most of the time. One major PD in my area running their own emt's recently got into huge trouble when it was found that they could give orders to emt's on scene and would very frequently have suspects tranquilized with Ketamine if the cops thought somebody was out of control or annoying them in some way - quite a number of them suffered negative outcomes from this or even died. Thankfully lawsuits happened and people were fired, faced charges, and or decertified including one head ER surgeon who was overseeing the program, who lost his job and ability to practice.

And then I don't understand why people say that the cops don't know why we hate them they do know why everybody knows that why people hate cops they don't wonder
People need to call the legislation offices and police departments saying how enraged they are and hold signs to show their displeasure. Then it would get attention via news
They were just looking for a reason to abuse this guy, just think how much worse it would've been if people weren't around. Why didn't those cops on the horses do anything?
