I understand Darwin and find his theory much more verified but the ignorance of so called new age experts regarding our past knowledge is pathetic to say the least and has really led me down a road doubting how right they really are if they resort to such childish methods of destroying history (Troy being the biggest example).

    I'll tell you what a paramecium is! That's a paramecium! It's a one-celled critter with no brain, that can't fly! Don't mess with me man, I'm a lawyer!

    Sonneborn's revelation is a struggle that the most discipline of scientists such as my son, struggle with quite often. Now lets hear more about the P.aurelia zombie apocalypse that was so casually glossed over. Killer Paramecium that are not in control of their own bodies, now that's entertainment.

      Uuuhhhh...did I just insult a bevy of tiny creatures who are obviously far more intelligent than one of them 2-legged multicellular...
      things??? Probably.

    "It was awful of me to be so attached to a pet idea. That was an ordeal between my mind and my heart and it took a while for the mind to win and the heart to accept. Impersonal scientific objectivity is a goal to be sought by hard self-discipline; we are not born with it." - Tracy M. Sonneborn

    AAAaaaAAAW!!! They're soooo CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!!!!😀 Even while realizing the truths--that more than a few of these little critters do not play well with others,
    which means they're natural-born(or divided, or otherwise brought forth) pollute-ticians.
    Well, this WOULD explain a LOT...🤔😯🤑😲😱....
    I need a plush paramecium to hug.

    What I wanna know is why it takes a macro lens to see micro things.

    • @arsenymakarov6961
      @arsenymakarov6961 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The quick answer would be "because your eyes don't have enough resolution".
      Longer answer would start with how lenses focus light from a small area in your view and focus it to the sensor or the eye so that you could use the same resolution of the retina or a camera sensor to resolve less area with grater detail.
      look up how arrangements of lenses work - like microscope, macro lens, telescope and such.

    The Swedish name for Paramecium is "toffeldjur" which translates to "slipper animal", because they're sort of shaped like slippers
