  • A video of Bristol Temple Meads station, and Bath Road depot taken in the summer of 1993. This is an updated version of the one uploaded under the crazyh0rse user name, which (since Googlemail took control of TH-cam login emails) I find is almost impossible to access as multiple login accounts seem to be a no-no. The old file was updated when file sizes were restricted to 50Mb, so hopefully this is an improvement.

I was at Reading Uni '91 - '95, so would regularly pick these trains up from Reading into Paddington.
These trains are glorious. Even more so with the original diesel engine.

1:20 Trans Pennine liveried 47475 was unique when it was painted into that livery back in August 1989! Used to see it passing my school in Uppermill as it crossed Saddleworth Viaduct on the Standedge route via Diggle. But in April 1991 it suffered a fire whilst transferred to RXLC (Parcels and later RES at Crewe / CD) and the repaint given to the loco still in TP colours wass an eyesore! Absolute mess of light blue extended up one side only. Sad end to such a unique colour scheme.
2:35 What PEEPSHOW has bashed 47471 'Norman Tunna GC' in this modified Inter-City Executive colour scheme? Didn't enjoy noticing the state of the 'A End' (cab) now that I have the Lima model! :o)

I think that the parcel livery was the worst and most boring colour scheme I have ever seen on a loco
