I miss his older style where he could avoid getting hit and still get involved in action, but credit where credit is due. He has mastered the art of hit and don't be hit. His fights aren't always entertaining, but he'll always be one of the greats.
Great to see Floyd looking sharp speaking sharp. You got to show these young boxers they have to grow up eventually. Dress like a grown man and conduct yourself as such as well.
You can tell he don't watch film bc he don't come out with a game plan. He sees the others gameplan and takes it away... you know what adjustments to make when you been doin the same thing since you was 2
@@MisterKabul89 1.) Instinct - he's already sized you up within the first couple of rounds and as he mentioned, he's able to determine whether you're an "A" class fighter or "B" class fighter. 2.) He "Listens" - to his corner for strategy but will make adjustments if and when it becomes ineffective. 3.) Strategize - If the game plan is working....stick to it. He may act a fool outside of that ring but inside of it, his Boxing IQ is unmatched in addition to gentics/boxing lineage and God gifted reflexes--- it shouldn't be a surprise that he went undefeated.
How can this guy not be considered one of the greatest boxers of all-time?? Where were people like SRR, Tyson, Ali, Chavez, at this age and still able to form a complete sentence??
@Pat Diaz but still tho 85% of these legendary fighters are punch drunk. look at floyd sr, ali, joe fraizer. george foreman is one of the few who can still speak well.
The most calculated fighter in the history of the fight game and he doesn't study his opponents, by watching video of them, yea right, pull the other one floyd. He just goes in and goes with the flow, thats what got him to 49-0, just going with the flow.😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉
Wow he doesn't watch tape? That is actually interesting. I guess that way an opponent can't throw him off with some random style outta nowhere since he's ready for anything
His father and his uncle do tell floyd go to the body a lot in the fight footage I’ve seen from Floyd’s career. I’ve never met an old school trainer who didn’t talk about body shots a lot.
No way. He has always watched tape on his opponents. He had insiders in opponent's training camps. 100% he at least watched his opponents previous fights.
Dakota Y I think people fuck there self up watching tape.. it's kinda like your fighting based off what your opponent can and can't do instead of just going in there and just do what you do
if 2 floyds met in the ring there wouldn't be a punch thrown ..maybe a few just too please the crowd but pretty much nothing .. would of been funny watching them both flinch and lean back at the same time without a punch being thrown over n over again
May weather the greatest boxer ever pure class and better than Muhammad Ali because he’s never lost a fight and Muhammad Ali might be love by more people but may weather just pure class and that’s way he’s the greatest boxer ever xx
@@yamommyromsies6418 I was literally just watching a video the other day about how he studies his opponents closely and needs to know everything about a fighter (pacquiao) before a fight. He was almost bragging about it. He's tripping over his own feet. He'll say anything to look better.
He doesn't watch tapes. Roger and his Dad do but like he said, theres no need for him to watch tapes. If anything it'd probably throw him off if a fighter comes in with a different game plan then what he watched. It's better to just feel them out especially when he knows that he's elusive and people need to figure out how to beat him.
Not really, watching his fights you can see him adjusting his style, aggressiveness, punches, movement and everything else when he starts getting beat a little
Bruce Lee I think he beats GGG pretty much the same way he beat Canello....GGG is to slow ...Floyds speed would confuse him....GGG would swing and miss all lnight... he would then get desperate and then be open to take big shots.
Oh Pliiz, he couldnt do shit against manny, even tho he cheated with that illegal iv, and manny had a torn shoulder. GGG would punch him outta the ring. There is no denying that fluid is a cherry picker

MuhammadAli_GOAT gotta love the confidence/cockiness.
That’s the perspective of the greatest defensive fighter ever. Brilliant
Floyd is indeed the King of Adjustments in the ring..The Zab Judah & Shane Mosley fights proved it..
His confidence is incredible as a boxing fan you gotta love that

After the 4th round, Conor had nothing left
Floyd took him into deep waters
