There are a lot of game breaking bug fixes in the patches so don't miss them! You don't have to restart a new game, they're compatible with most older saves.

If you have the "OpenAL: Can't create sound device." error:
Uninstall OpenAL, get it here
www.openal.org/downloads/
And install again.
If it's still not working, check C:\WINDOWS\system32\ for OpenaAL32.dll
If the .dll file is not there then its not installed correctly.
Get the .dll here:

and place it in the sys32 folder.

- 1.4 just came out with more bug fixes, all links in the vid description. Install is the same, just copy the patches in your main game folder one after the other!

Hey man, im really dumb and have never used google drive before. The link for the patches shows a few different patches ranging from (1.7-4.7). Do I need to download them all or just the most recent one? Thanks!
@@melaninfarmer Get them all and install them in order yes. I'm sure they'll do a cumulative patch at some point, but right now install of of them yes!

(which was never STALKERS strongest suit before)
Pro tips from a guy that already finished the game 2 times and I start the 3rd. When u start the game farm as much money as possible through used guns and artifacts. Put them in stashes, always travel light don't get involved in killing dumb mutants (they will always have the same spawning point). Carry batteries with you and meds. Sell as much as you can and buy the freedom exo from the guy in garbage as soon as possible. Don't waste money on gun modifications because soon you will get pretty good gear + you will get nice guns from stashes as well. Always KEEP the really good artifacts and carry them with you all the time even if you don't use them because there are quests where are a lot of anomalies and u need some protection. Again, try and get the exo as soon as possible because when u will have to exit dark valley after u finish the quest in the underneath lab you will have to leave in a weird map with an weird strong controller who will kill you really quick if you are not prepared. Also it will be annoying because he will teleport you back. (If you need help to find him, just comment me so I don't spoil to soon). Also if some of you need to know some special locations for really good guns let me know. Most of them are close to end game but they still can be used. Especially in the end game, they will help you a lot.
ALSO I forgot, try to farm the Pelicle artifact (If i remember correctly this is it's name). It's an really OP artifact found in the chemical anomalies. Its an really OP artifact that will help you a lot throughout the game especially in the underneath labs, in the quest leaving dark valley and farming other artifacts.
I honestly hadn't heard of this mod until it came out but it's been an absolute treat so far.
One tip for new players: If you come across Sweeper and then later have to grab the military radio under the tunnel, do it. Because I didn't get the cutscene because I waited for too long. Don't kill the poltergeists either before you talk to the technician in Cordon. These two scenarios caused my storyline to stagnate and had to restart from scratch almost.
I killed the poltergeist straight away and no problem, did you install the patches? I installed all the patches and have had 0 problems, not even crashes and im +20 hours in the game
@@paskaalisaapaskaa5354 This issue occurred before the patches and is probably very rare because of the 2 events that have to occur like I described above. Maybe this wouldn't happen on a new game with patches already installed. Who knows..
I would love a playthrough, so far I'm not struggling with the game (appart from the download) but just for the fun content. Love your style, keep going 😊

Im pretty sure the new updates fixed the Poltergeist quest in the new village map, before i couldnt unlock the safe in the car and thanks to your video and the patches i could finish the quest and get some really nice rewards. Thanks Cheeki.
That stash in the stuffed mutant reminds me of similar one from either Fotograf or Golden Sphere.

Important tip: found out that most wooden crates have dedicated loot, rather than randomized. I got a Freedom scientific suit in the bandit base, deagle in the Agroprom swamp

I'm having trouble finding the diggers camp for the locked safe quest in Garbage right now, but hopefully I'll figure it out soon.
It's in Agroprom, the central building called "Borovik complex".

First time playing Stalker is going to be thru this. Feels kinda insane. No tutorial so far, most of my knowledge is based on your Invictus runs over the years.
The agroprom tech does all the upgrades I noticed after I turned them into the cordon tech, so I imagine if you didnt find the tools he'd still upgrade all your stuff but I could be mistaken. But this mightve changed in the new update as well
I didn't find any tools and the agro tech was still able to do all the upgrades

The shared stashes and the sidearm slot are the two things that I really, really missed in the vanilla games.
2 additional tips, there is a RPG7 with 2 rockets under a bed in the bloodsucker village in army warehouses. and during the "battle royal" you can find a free exoskeleton in an air duct on the floor.
A great combo that works a lot for me: kill all the mutants and grab all their stuff, also go through all the anomalies and get their artifacts. Stash everything in the closest shared stash and go to the Bar. Take the missions barman gives you - they are mutant parts and artifacts. He pays you more money and also gives you items for these quest rewards.
Now we need the video about armours and weapons 😉😎. Its hard to order suit for a few k of rubels not knowing its stats 🖖🤷🏼
I wouldn't mind watching a series where you cover the various ways you can approach the objectives.
It reminds me a bit of LostAlpha, which is a good thing.
I actually ran right past both the advanced and expert tools and that backpack in the x18 lab I really thought there was nothing special in it 😂
i have a question my dear stalker. i dont know but if can be posible "true stalker" with screen space shaders 19 ( the new wind tree effect is ozom , amaizing in deed... ) can be posible?

Do you have any tips for increasing performance? I wasn't able to find the balanced settings for performance and quality, and I'm getting fps drops and stutters especially in crowded areas.
Sounds like regular Stalker performance to me :)
Its really on the engine man. I have a RTX 4060 with a AMD 7. Yet i suffer stutters too sometimes, just put it on maximum and deal with it, you’ll notice that most of the time the stutters happen when you load into a new area, after that it mostly stops.
Really appreciate the effort that went into this mod and it is awesome except for the excessive amount of cut scenes, I'm going to pass on this one and wait and see if the modding community fixes it. I'm glad other people really like it.
Cheeki, I wanna know… how does weapon customization work? Is it primitive just like in GAMMA, where you need specific kits and whatnot?
Is there a Duty exoskeleton in this mod? I know that you can buy the regular one and Freedom one from the smuggler in Garbage, but so far im on the chapter 5 and I havent come across one yet.
I have a consistent bug after "killing the master" I walk out of the tunnel and the cutscene doesn't trigger, I've reloaded even before that entire level and did the entire "heist" and broke out the stalker yet still the cutscene doesn't trigger I just spawn on the normal overworld with it saying "Escape to the surface" *quick edit* I'm playing on 1.4 but also had the bug one the normal 1.0
This game has me in a chokehold bro I have 14 hours in 2 days on True Stalker, also i'm on a winter break so i got no school, it's so addicting 😭
Not sure if people know this, but if you're struggling to spot items, hold your use key and the name of said item will appear. Default is "F".
Stalker veterans use this tip like its breathing air.
The range in this one is very short though, I keep picking up the items before I can read what it is.

Haha 🙂 I'm here to put exactly that tip (did youtube search for "True Stalker" vids and this is the first i selected) - scanning thru first tho in case someone else has already posted about it - and you did (thumbsup). For some reason the not showing of items is worse in True Stalker than any other mod / version of STALKER - and increasing the info radius in actor.ltx really doesn't seem to work like it normally does...

Hello I have a problem with this mod. I did all the missions in cordon but I cant leave. When I approach the exit to Garbage its says PASSAGE IS BLOCKED. What did I done wrong What is happening?
Do I install all 5 bin files and the ts setup exe or what? I am confused on the installation.

If the game says that it’s saving but isn’t, run the game in Administrator Mode. Windows 11 won’t let it write files otherwise.

i bought assault suit very early, i didnt really buy anything at the beginning so i had a lot of money and i didnt know if i could run in exoskeleton and if not if i can upgrade it to be able to run, the technician in agroprom doesnt need any tools and he can do all the upgrades so when you get to that point and you dont have the tools you dont need them anymore, and dont buy guns, you will find great weapons all the tine in stash or on stalkers, they cary AS VAL, VSS, etc. i found SG550 and Groza in stashes...
you can run right away with freedom exoskeleton without upgrades, idk about regular one
if you give all tool to Yurok, it will unlock upgrading for all technician

how do you install it? i cant at all..i got it through google drive and it just show ts_setup and the 2-5 but when i try to start it, it just asks for a disk and i try to select the setups but it wont work.

You have to give Tools to Technician to upgrade or rapair items. Carying them in the Backpack doesn't work

Where can I download this demo? I looked everywhere on Mod db and only found the patches... looks great, I've been playing Clear Sky with the Complete Mod... the mission spawn points are weird but it plays ok.
Came back to Anomaly with a clean install and update to 1.5.2, and just enjoying vanilla Anomaly experience as a Merc. What a legendary game! SALUTE TO THE DEVS! AND TO YOU CHEEKI BREEKI! ⚡️⚡️

Salut Cheeki, j'ai une question. Je suis coincé sur le jeu. J'ai ramassé 3 artefact, pensant les revendre, masi je peux pas les revendre, ni même les déposer dans un coffre. Le problème c'est qu'elles sont radioactif. Et je crève avec au bout de 4-5min. Qu'est ce que je dois en faire ??? Ou je peux les revendre ou les stocker ?
Si tu ne peux pas pas les vendre/déposer dans un coffre c'est parce que c'est les artefacts pour la mission de Sidorovich, faut juste la finir (jcrois que ya 3 anomalies a faire, avec 1-2 artefacts a trouver par anomalie).
Les artefacts dans ton inventaire ne t'irradient pas (uniquement ceux attaché à ta ceinture peuvent t'irradier, mais en début de game t'as pas d'armure pour les équiper de toute façon).
C'est très probablement de la radiation que t'as choppé en te promenant dans des zones irradiées etc... boit de la vodka, prend des pillules antirad etc...

1.4 update, unable to give the upgrade gun kits to the duty repair man. Im thinking you have to give it to the original guy to unlock all.
Might be a dumb question but can stashes be found through exploring or it's mandatory to buy the coordinates for them to become lootable?
You either buy them or receive coords from bodies

Yes, the fix is explained in the vid description, it's a common problem but easy to solve!

Need help with finding materials from garbage underground which cordon technician needs ??
Im having a bit of a problem, if i download it from google disk every file seems to be okay except for the ts_setup.exe basically it has 0kb and I cant even open it cuz it says that its not found,
and automatically deletes it from my PC....any help..? or someone experienced it ???
Antivirus / windows defender most likely giving you a false positive and deleting the file

Ok so freedom exoskeleton comes with servoboosters upgrade so you can run with it right away, dont know about regular one but i imagine its not upgraded... freedom one costs 117000RU you can get it pretty early if you dont buy anything and save all the artefacts etc. you dont need to but ammo meds or food you have a LOT of this from loot, and also guns are pletifull and you get special versions througout the game so no need to spen money on that either, so my tip is to save money for exo and then its ez game
You answered the "give tools to technician?" question completely wrong. There are multiple other technicians later in the game and they will either only be able to repair or they will be able to to all mods without tools. It's just the Cordon technician who ever needs those tools.
is this game more streamlined than anomaly/gamma? i wanna get into these games due to the atmosphere but the million healing items and wounds mechanic and the confusing weapon repair always put me off, just wanna shoot stuff and explore and experience the story....sorry i'm not a hardcore gamer and i'm usually too tired to learn complex games these days

You can buy them from the smuggler at the train depot in Garbage, but you need proceed with the story and upgrade him or he's gonna just sell ammo and grenades. Personally I was able to buy scopes after unlocking the way for the Bar. Sorry for eventual grammatical mistakes.

Is there a debug menu in this game? I can't find it.
The reason why enemies feel very bully spongy, is because assault rifles only do 10-13 damage per shot, while most.pistols do between 17-19, and shotguns are between 55-75, and kill most things in one shot..later
Weapons like the SVD do 100+.

There was a "better ballistics" mod in the addons section of mod db but I think it got taken back down (after I downloaded it luckily). Im using that mod but with muzzle velocities set back to original values and gravity constant reduced to 5.0 instead, and cam_relax_ai configs reduced to 10% of original - which makes the whole thing feel MUCH better - very similar to Anomaly but even better thanks to the cam_relax_ai fix (which i also use in Anomaly).
Sound issues anyone else?
I have 5.1 speakers but game running in stereo mode? and yes other games/films are running in 5.1 with no issue.

There's plenty of mirrors on the ap-pro website, and if everything is saturated just use the torrent/magnet link! No quotas there!

Don't worry. After patching you can still use old saves.

About personal stashes, people really can't read nowadays?, like you get a tutorial note at the beginning of the mod about them in your PDA.
regarding the difficulty: in original stalker, the high difficulty = higher damage universally is a myth. is it actually true in this mod?
