Welcome back to our trick tutorial series where today we will be teaching you how to do a cable wakeboarding Raley. Although this trick is quite well known for being a tough one to learn we're here to talk you through each step so you can try and avoid those nasty slams!

Hey guys, I'm regular and not confident enough to attempt a switch raley yet - where would you suggest I attempt it regular on the cable as inside to outside can be flipped on a straight for me, but by the motor tower is pretty exclusively inside>outside :) cheers!

Hello, I wanted to ask what should I do if I don't get enough height when I do the scoop?
Try cutting harder and a little longer to get more height on your raley and if I’m you feel you’re not high enough then just let go and tuck in ready for the crash haha!
is there any actual difference between flicking straight down, and behind you or does a scoop make it easier to gain more height?
The scoop is honestly the hardest part to explain. For each person we talk to everybody has it figured out a little different. I (Ryan) personally dig my foot down and back, whereas lots of other people I know think about more of a scoop. Only way to learn is to get out there and keep trying til you get it figured out! 🤘🏽
@@ThePeacockBrothers Figured that would be the case, cause when i see it, it looks like they flick down, but half way through a little to the side. Either way I just need too bring the board down to the water to land now. Thanks man and keep shredding! 🤟

Hey guys, do you think is easier to learn on the kicker or straight on the water as you did in this video? :)
Kicker is less intimidating to get alot of the muscle memory of getting laid out and getting the board down. Once you can do kicker raleys learn the cut and then put both together ..its what i did.
would you say that the raley scope is the same as a backroll scope?
the scoop is fairly similar, but not the same :)
For the backroll i open up to the side, for my raley i just release and keep my body position
